Alasdair the concierge was an absolute superstar. Will definitely be back! The Location is perfect, room was gorgeous, all of staff were super helpful and friendly. The adjoining restaurant and distillery are well worth a visit. Super recommend.

Stunning hotel, great location, and lovely restaurant and food. My only negatives as a woman travelling alone for work, I had to walk ( albeit a short distance) at night, to my accommodation and unfortunately I was in a ground floor room with the fabulous large bay window, directly overlooking the busy foot path and hotel walkway. As I arrived late afternoon it was getting dark and necessary to have the lights on, but unfortunately i had to close the curtains and keep them closed in the morning until I was showered and dressed as you could see right into my room . Also again as a lone female traveller, there is no phone in the room to call reception if I had a problem, I would have to go outside and walk to reception, so it didn’t feel entirely safe. Nonetheless a really beautiful hotel and had I been with my partner, then other than the ground floor issue I would have no complaint's

Some good things and some things not so good. Excellent central location beside River Ness, very large and comfortable bed, quality pillows, tasty fish and chips in restaurant. Almost £7 for a beer s pricey, and the live music in the bar was way too loud. In the room the wardrobe hangers had no crossbar, so not able to hang up trousers. No basket or shelf for shower toiletries. Decaff coffee at breakfast was a pot of water and some sachets of Nescafé instant powder….poor show. Invest in a few automatic coffee machines, and ensure the food is kept warmer, the juice containers constantly refilled, and you don’t run out of pastries before breakfast is finished. The staff were very pleasant.

Very nice hotel with an excellent restaurant and bar. Top location near the river and a short walk distance to the city centre.

The room we had was massive. Hotel is bit quirky in that it is a collection of several large Georgian houses and they still have some original features. We had a lovely bay window looking over the river Ness. Guess down side is you need to go outside to move between buildings, but worth it.

We have stayed many times at Glen Mohr. This time we were in Alexander room 614 ... where do I even start. Room is tiny - and not very clean. Opened the windows in the bathroom and black with dirt and peeling paint, blinds that haven't seen a duster for a long time. Had to sleep with window wide open because room was so hot. Our key card to our room sometimes worked, sometimes didn't. We told one of the housekeeping staff we were having problems getting into the room - she came and let us in, no exchange of conversation just rolled her eyes. Not very professional and hardly our fault. We already don't bother with breakfast here as in the past we have found the food offered to be tepid at best and mediocre in quality. I doubt after this latest experience we will ever return.
