We had such a lovely welcome from Chris and Elly who were very accommodating despite our late order for dinner (which was excellent). This is a lovely country house with great views of the loch and some excellent walks right on the doorstep. The south side of the loch is remote but beautiful and we would love to return for longer next time.

This is a great location with beautiful views of Loch Ness, but without the crowds. There is a pleasant walk through the woods to Foyers Falls and the village cafe that starts in the guest house driveway. One can also walk to the shore of Loch Ness. The hosts were charming and made us very welcome. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. We wished we had planned to stay longer.

Chris, Elly and all the animals,wild and domestic are delightful. Daily saw badgers, and deer. My wee poodle was welcomed. The food was delicious. The bed was perfect. My room had views of Loch Ness and the gardens. Easy access to walks, cafes and restaurants. A relaxing and enjoyable few days. Thank you 😊 🐩

Just a warning, if you have any special dietary requirements, it is advisable to let the owners of Foyers Bay Country House Hotel know before you arrive what your needs are, as despite having various Dairy Free and Gluten Free items on the breakfast menu they did not have these items in stock when I stayed there. All that was available was some white not very nice white GF bread which I spread with my own DF margarine I had brought with me. I was advised that they did not stock these items as no one asks for them. So please ask a while before you arrive, to give them a chance to get them in stock. I did not find this very satisfactory, especially as the laminated breakfast menu which was between my cutlery on the table, did say that these GF and DF items were available. Items not available included oat milk, soya milk or any other DF milk, DF margarine, any variety choice of GF bread, GF/ DF breakfast cereal. neither were these choices available in my bedroom tray, which only had tea and coffee and no fruit or mint tea choice. I was a bit disappointed in this general lack, which rather spoilt my stay.

Just a lovely find! Chris is so friendly and accomodating. Fab breakfast cooked by Elly. Beautiful room and setting, clearly hard working owners who put their heart and soul into their business. Wildlife was incredible, red squirrels, abundance of birds and resident animals.

This hotel is fantastic ! It sits on the bank of Loch Ness, and from the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome from Chris . The rooms were immaculate and so comfortable with luxurious touches. The local knowledge shown by Chris and Elly is second to none. We were told the local wildlife would visit the garden at particular times, and they certainly did , Red Squirrels, wild deer, and even Badgers, magical ! Finally, the breakfast cooked by Elly was the best we had on our tour of Scotland ! The only downside was that we wished we had booked for more than one night ! Superb, we will be back and would definitely recommend it to others.

Slightly dated guest house. Food was ok but expensive for the quality, and not available at the weekend. Had a curfew - first time I’ve ever been sent to bed ! And it was only 23.30 Owners are friendly and the place is quite clean despite cats having the run of the lounge .

A warm welcome, good food, really clean, and amazing animals and view from the dining room. Elly and Chris catered really well for all my dietary issues. They work really hard to make this place special. Needed more than one night to fully appreciate all it has to offer.

We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful country house. A charming place, very quiet, with charming hosts. Everything was very clean and well kept. The room was very comfortable with nice furniture in it. Breakfast which was freshly prepared, was very tasty. The only thing we regret is that we couldn’t stay more than one nigh. But we promise to come back on our next trip to Scotland!
