Hotel Pi Ipoh

Understandable it’s a 3-star hotel so not much expectation in the stay, as long it’s clean. However, I find this establishment unsatisfactory and disappointing because of the following; -no gym facility / nearby gym is pay per entry, not affiliated -no laundry service / nearby laundry is a 8 minute walk self service -cleanup is untimely / room makeup didn’t happen even after 5 hours I left the room and requested -so called water purifier is just water dispenser -no water kettle (do note that other budget hotels has this) -there’s durian smell in the floor I stayed in for 2 days straight This hotel implemented a NON-REFUND policy on bookings, so to me it feels like this hotel is being a little dishonest about their facilities/service description on the platform, and it is not accurate & very disappointing. At this price point, even smaller boutiques/hostels are way better than this. I do hope that they improve in the future.

The hotel provides free parking and the room is pretty clean Walking distance to Ipoh new town

Stuff are helpful. Not too many restaurants to choose from. Flee market on Sunday in front of the hotel and you have to go to the main street to catch a ride from Grab. Room is pretty small and no table and chair.
