I have an unpleasant stay with this hotel , the hygienist was terrible especially the bed had bedbugs was bite me all night I couldn’t sleep due to too itchiness and wake up 4am went to reception but no one attend so I decided to leave the hotel early and give up my booking, definitely won’t book again .

Overall stay was amazing, except for the wash closet which do not comes with a bidet and the wc also exposed to the bed. Beautiful room and ambience but not so peaceful since its located above the chinese restaurant. We could smell unpleasant odour along the way to the counter. Worth to try definitely.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The building and rooms are poorly maintained. I booked a twin room with a shared toilet for two nights. As soon as I arrived at the check-in counter, there was a strong smell of urine. The booking records were all on paper, and they couldn’t find my reservation from the trip. The check-in process made both me and my companion very uncomfortable. After climbing narrow stairs and passing through two gates, we finally reached our room. The room design was decent, and despite its small size, it had a skylight that provided some natural light, so it didn’t feel too cramped. However, the bed had unidentifiable stains, and the pillows were extremely old and basic cotton ones. The room also had a lingering smell of sweat, and the ceiling beam was starting to crack. I’ve stayed in renovated old prisons that were better than this hotel. And don’t get me started on the bathroom—it was terrifying. The shared facilities for convenience and showering were in the same room, separated only by partitions. Despite all this, the hotel’s location is excellent, situated on a bustling street, and within walking distance to popular eateries and attractions. No soundproofing

Fantastic stay! Clean, comfortable pillows & mattress (without a bedframe - not a problem for us but just so you know). Nice sized room with hanging area & shelf. Good AC. Sufficient amount of toilets/showers, & shower has hot water. The location is great, close to the train station & by many restaurants. Note: reception is inside the compound, not on the street. Check in was simple and service friendly (though one gent on the desk couldn't help us with any info on buses to the Cameron Highlands). Pool area was cleaned daily. Would stay again.

Good Location and cheap price but terrible facilities. A hole on the ground can see the rooms in lower floor. Check in can only from 3pm.

Location was great, n quite an Instagram-able place. Hotel was repurposed from a old n dilapidated building. Internal industrial design added character. But the cleanliness wasn't up to mark. The room also smell of dank n sewer-ish smell and time. Overall, for a 1 night driving stop over stay, it was adequate. But anymore would not suggest.

this is the second time i’m staying at this place. the first time was booked via agoda. the room is spacious and nice but floor is dusty. but that isn’t a big deal for me. what has really ruined my mood for the stay was the front desk guy. he is an indian man. he called me 3 times on the morning of my stay but i didn’t pick up because i was driving from KL. when i reach there around 2.30 pm after i had my lunch, i gave a call to the number in the front desk (which was his number who called me earlier) to ask if can check-in now or need to wait until 3pm. he said 3pm and i was okay since it’s just a few more minutes until 3pm anyway. no one was in the premise at that time which is why i call the number written on the whiteboard. during my check-in, he is complaining about why i didn’t pickup the call so he didn’t know what time i’m coming to check in. so unprofessional of him to say that the first thing to a guest. trying to blame me? well first, you’re calling in the morning of my trip and you can’t expect me to pickup the phone when i’m driving? you could have just leave a message on whatsapp if i didn’t pickup the call. everybody is using whatsapp nowadays so what’s so hard to reach me? second, he asks for RM50 deposit but my mother didn’t hear at first so she asked what the RM50 is for and he said to buy KFC? repeatedly saying to buy KFC. is that suppose to be a joke? we all know he’s just trying to be sarcastic to my mother because that isn’t funny at all to us. during my first time stay at this place on Dec 2023, Mr Poon whatsapp me A DAY before my trip to confirm my booking and my arrival time. it was pleasant and easy with Mr Poon which is why i choose this place again for my second trip but turns out, the front desk is a different person this time and he really ruined my mood during my stay there because of his unprofessional attitude.

Location is superb! Bedroom was nice. Bedsheet can be improved though. We enjoyed our stay by the way. Hotel is so nice with rustic interior. I suggest to put railing in the bedroom instead of knob, hanger always fall off.

Location wise is ok, but not suitable for families. The hotel is not family friendly. No lift, you have to climb stairs to your room. This hotel is perfect for youngsters. The aesthetic rooms and hotel is nice. Price wise is affordable. Right in the middle of the city, located right in front of the plan b cafe and the famous concubine lane. My mom also noticed the bathroom is not cleaned. Tried once is ok. Repeat? Is a no for me. Thanks btw!

Location is good but difficult to get parking. The room is spacious. Love the stairs.

Unique space and Rustic decor. i slept soundly.
