White Hart Inn

Had lovely overnight stay here on our walking trip of the Severn way. Stayed in room 7 in the annex - brilliant. Had a lovely bath which was welcome at end of a long walk. and great view of the river. Comfy bed and very clean. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Couldn’t fault it.

Booked at table for 8 o’clock in the evening, we arrived 10 minutes late. After sitting down with a drink the waitress came over and said they had started to close the kitchen and we could have no food, nothing. Waitress started to grizzle. Girl at the bar was rude from the moment we arrived. If only they had said BEFORE we had booked. Avoid

Not worthy of 4 stars, 3 at best.Breakfast only 8-9. Cold bedroom/hard bed , room 2 . No parking, no lift. Worst thing was that the bar shut at 9.40, even as a resident, we were very rudely told yo go to our room. Beware - shops closed on a Wednesday.

The hotel stay as last year was lovely, we had a different room this time, but it was gorgeous. We had a fantastic breakfast too, the quality of the ingredients is beautiful. The bar did close at 10.30 on Saturday evening, but there are other bars along the road you can go to, or just take drinks back to your room, the staff are all very accommodating.

Great hotel stay with splendid location, right beside the iron bridge. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious with superb quality food. Our room had a view of the courtyard and was extremely well presented. Mugs, cups, glasses and wine glasses were a helpful addition.

What an amazing relaxing tastefully decorated hotel and restaurant. Food was out of this world. Exceptionally sourced local ingredients. Sublime and fresh. Staff was courteous and professional. We was in room 4 we classed it as the hand dryer room as you can hear the toilet hand dryer. But as we have four children at home.normally we accepted the noise and accepted that's just the way the hotel is. We wouldn't knock the hotel for this. The rooms are decorated to a high standard and very clean. The bed in room 4 is amazing !!!! Comfortable and if I could have took it.wirhout being noticed I would have done :p. Best nights sleep I've had in quite a while. Booked.to come.back in June for a weekend we know we will be in excellent hands Thank you to all the staff for the hard work they put in to make our breaks away peaceful and memorable
