Pirouzy Hotel Isfahan

The room is hot and the AC is barely working. We asked them for an additional blanket (we booked a royal suite, 4 beds) and they said they don't have extra blankets! Wifi is slow and gets interrupted multiple times, room cleaning service is suboptimal and they frequently nag us about tips!

My family and I had a very good stay at this hotel. The staff's attitude was excellent, the restaurant's self-service was one of the best self-services I have ever seen, both for lunch and breakfast, and it may be interesting that we met a famous celebrity who is our family's favorite there.

The hotel is worse for wear. The hotel is marketed as 4 star but will pass as 2 star hotel in the West. The air conditioning unit in the first room we were allocated was making a racket. That being said, after complaining we were moved to bigger and better room. The hotel is well situated in near proximity to the Square. Breakfast was satisfactory

I had terrible problems with the WiFi. I spent 30 minutes at the reception and still they did not resolve it. I think the WiFi only works for 15 seconds and then it doesn't work for 10 minutes. Horrible for uploading pictures, checking your e-mail, anything. It literally doesn't work at all, don't bother to connect. The food for breakfast and dinner was good. The hotel is in a good location, close to the city center, there are crosswalks on the left and right side where you can take a nice walk. The hotel looks small from the outside, but once inside it is very spacious. We only got one key for the room so I asked for another, since you must have a second key to be able to use the elevator.

Every person we met working in this hotel was kind and friendly. From the women working at the front desk who helped me with the internet, to the very kind man who met us in the breakfast room to chat and tell us about Isfahan, to the lovely woman making espresso each morning, everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a 94-year-old man in the tour group with us, and a staff member spent the day with us 'driving' Fred in a wheelchair around the city. The location of the Piroozy is excellent, the food was great, and the rooms very comfortable. As an American traveling in Iran, I didn't know what to expect. If the staff at the Piroozy are any indication, Isfahan is the friendliest place on earth. Thank you for a great stay in your beautiful city!
