This is a place you’d take your lover on a honeymoon- great service, beautiful beach and the bungalow delux was so relaxing and picturesque by the water. My date sadly missed the boat (intentionally?) so going by myself was not ideal but I made lots of cool friends. I took a boat cab to nearby Tintipan Island where the younger party crowd was at a cool hostel/tiki bar. On mucura I really enjoyed the bioluminescent phytoplankton toor- it was beautiful to swim in at night. Two concierge stars stood out to me- Nayibe and Estephanie- They made my trip and they spoke perfect English and cheered me up when I was down. Props to a great staff!! Just don’t try to order vegetarian. They just don’t get it in the kitchen.

I 100% recommend. Estefany greeted us and made us feel at home. Rooms are stunning and well air conditioned. Food was fresh and delicious, the hotel grounds are stunning. Lads at the bar were great, Diego x2, Gio, David, Xavi y todos, gracias

Fourth time I come to hotel Isla mucura and everytime im more and more surprised how it grows not only in size but in quality. The biggest seems to get barter by the day and the service as great as it’s ever been, Congratulations to an unbelievable team who you can really tell works with passion in love for this paradise

A beautiful, beautiful spot. Immaculate beaches with clear waters, gorgeous gardens with birds singing everywhere. Very comfortable and stylish accommodation- loved the outdoor bathroom and bath products. And the staff are so friendly and helpful and lovely - including the girls at reception and the waiting staff in the restaurant. Loved the free yoga class and good value activities like massages and kayak. The only wish we have is - more sun loungers available in the shade - would make everything perfect, and maybe a rule to stop being hogging sun loungers. Would love to come back!

The hotel is beautifully located, surrounded by cristal clear waters. The staff was always friendly and helpful. In special Estefany y Yuraimy at reception, whom I requested help from many many times. I loved both the water activities and the ones at the hotel like volleyball, salsa dance, and others. There’s a very friendly vibe in this hotel and even travelling solo I felt safe and always looked after. In terms of suggestions, I would like to see more of the social actions the Hotel does to support the local community which is beside the hotel. I understood the hotel provides jobs for a lot of this population both on site and on the water with the nautical activities. But I would like to see what else is done for them ( education, healthcare, etc) as they are the owners of this land. I am sure most tourists would appreciate to know.

Amazing staff and great place, I’ll come back as many times as possible. The food is great, it’s quiet, there are places where you can share with other guests. The staff makes activities so you don’t have to stay still unless you want to. The experience is one of the best things I’ve been able to part of

Perfect place, perfect location and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Staff found us a room despite being almost full as our original accommodation on the island was awful. Rooms very clean and spacious. Very peaceful with plenty to do for a range of different travellers (free activities on offer every day). Each room had a lovely private veranda and very easy access to a beautiful beach. Beds very comfortable and big and room had good and quiet a/c which is a must as the climate is hot. Outdoor space beautifully maintained and plenty of places to relax. Great restaurant with excellent food at a good price. Lots of wildlife (parrots, pelicans, iguanas, peacocks and marine life). Staff also helped us and let us leave our luggage at the office in Cartagena before our flight and at the hotel particular thanks to the wonderful Jessica and Fabio for being so kind and helpful

Great experience ! Nice people. Just one minus : too long at the bar to get our drinks. Activities are great. Good animators and animations. The best : not so Many people, small resorts are the best. Good restaurant. The view from our room was amazing.

The hotel is quite comfortable, the most beautiful part were the rooms and the social spots. I recommend the experience but I think is a little bit expensive, specially the food where you would have a buffet in which you can’t choose all that you want. I appreciate Fabio who had such a great and genuine kindness in reception. Some people didn't have the same attitude but nothing to worry about. To conclude, I recommend the experience for a weekend maximum.
