Maria's Kan KIN

I stayed here January 2025, 7-14th. the place was clean and quiet, rooms were cleaned every morning. showers were hot and beach towels were supplied. The rooms are located within a beautiful garden area with your own beautiful white sand beach, and swimming pool a few steps away. Breakfast was included in my package at the Kin Ha hotel, which is about 100ft up the road, the food was amazing with beautiful views across the blue ocean to Cancun, there is a great little coffee shop located just up the road, ( its out of a Volkswagen bus, and its really great coffee) there are also a couple of restaurant's and pubs within walking distance, as well as a reputable Satamander ATM, that I used for cash withdrawls. The southern most part of the island Punta Sur is about 1km away, I would walk here to watch the sunrise (picture included). it's about 7 dollars canadian to take a taxi to the north end of the island ( ferry terminal) and there are always buses running you can flag down, I think about 30 Pesos. Lily the host was amazing she sent me a text when I landed to make sure she was there to greet me, and was very helpful as this was my first time there and had questions about local activities, I definetly will return here

Maria’s Kan Kin was truly a gem that Lili the manager made super special. From the moment we arrived to when left we felt that there was something magical about it. The beach, the delicious breakfast at Kin Ha, the snorkeling it was just fantastic. Our super sweet bohemian room was just perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed. Make sure to get Lilli to arrange a golf cart rental for you-such a fun way To explore the island. We are already missing it there and can’t wait to go back and hopefully stay longer. Thank you so much Lili you are a gift!

Beautiful beach with sand. Nice to have a pool! We liked the guacamole and ceviche. The service was not amazing, a little slow and spotty. Beers were cold, mixed drinks were okay. Otherwise a nice spot to stop, especially if you are on a golf cart and need to cool off.

We had an amazing time, we usually stay at the hotels on the island but we were looking for a nice, secluded beach and we found so much more! Honestly it felt more like staying with the family because the property manager Lili is by far the best host we could ever ask for. She helped us before we even got there and was so warm and accommodating throughout our stay. She is the reason we will be back, we are so grateful for everything she did, the best! The beach was also amazing as we ventured around and most of the properties we visited on that side of the island were not swimmable due to sea grass and silt. Also the restaurant on site is really good!

We stayed in July and August and the Hotel is incredible! Lily, the woman that runs the hotel is the best host you could ever ask for. She and her staff keep the grounds and the rooms in perfect clean condition and will provide absolutely anything you need. It should be noted that the adjoining restaurant, "Piacere" while very good is not associated with Maria's Kan Kin so any experience with the restaurant should not reflect on the wonderful hotel. The hotel has 9 awesome rooms, two of which are spectacular ocean front suites with private balconies and breath taking views. Kayaks and paddle boards are provided for the hotel guests and the infinity pool is delightful. There is a perfect white sand beach with loungers and palapa beds where you can enjoy a siesta or a cocktail. We had a great stay at Maria's Kan Kin and look forward to coming back. We got the most amazing view of a private beach from our room which looked out big glass sliding doors to the ocean with Cancun in the background. Lilly was so helpful and booked us a golf cart which was even delivered to the hotel. She also helped us with getting food delivered. The infinity pool was amazing and we took the hotels kayaks out for a quick ride. Also the restaurant and bar was not open so they offered us vouchers for breakfast at Kin-ha which is just a two minute walk up the street. The breakfast was surprisingly good. I was expecting something simple but it was absolutely gourmet and the portions were big. We had the best time on the island. An unforgettable vacation!
