Lotus Beach Hotel - Adults Only

I have never had better service in my life and I felt like I left with 4 new friends! Alexander, the manager, Ulysses, Donna, and Juan were so friendly! They made our vacation so enjoyable! The food and drinks were delicious! The complementary breakfast look like a work of art! The view from our private pool was priceless! We could snorkel right out in front of the property and town was just a quick walk away. It was absolutely perfect in my eyes and I cannot wait to come back! Miss you all! ＜3 Angela

This is a small hotel with very nice location. Our room is spacious and has a small plunge pool facing the beach. Our stay was good until we realized some of our cash in safe box was missing. Initially we are not sure where the money went, stolen? Or we left it at home ? So we didn’t say anything. But we changed the code of safe box and kept diligent. Then on 6/30 Sunday when we came back from dinner, we noticed the stuff in front of safe box was moved, and checked the safe, more money missing! At this point we reported to the hotel, and next day we went to police station, filed police report. One police officer came to hotel , we watched security cameras together. Sure enough there was someone went into our room and stayed for 2 minutes after we left for dinner . With this evidence, hotel and police promised a thorough investigation and a report to us. We cut our vacation short, came home early. I am not sure we will get any report of the investigation. We will see. For my fellow tourists, please be really careful, be aware that safe box is not safe.

One of the best experiences we’ve had traveling to Mexico! This was our 2nd time in Isla, but it felt like a whole new vacation spot staying here! Alex and all the staff at Lotus + Guru are amazing and make you feel like a VIP. You can’t beat the hospitality and the beauty of this hotel. Room 1 was perfection! Thank you, Lotus Hotel, for a fantastic 14th anniversary trip full of wonderful memories with my husband ❤️ we will be back (hopefully in 2025) and will book direct this time! Other notes: -This hotel is CLEAN! There is always someone making sure the walkways are clean and free of standing water and offering to tidy your room! -their margarita mix is delicious (and that says a lot coming from TX. We take our margs seriously, y’all!)! The breakfast that comes with your stay is so large and beautifully plated. The fruit was fresh, sweet, and delicious! Our room felt like our private oasis and could be as cold as we liked when we went to bed. You can turn your room into an iceberg if you wish! When I say the location is PERFECT, I mean it! The staff makes sure the sargassum is clear each morning in front of the property and you wake up to pristine views and welcoming smiles each day! It only takes 5 minutes to walk to some of the best restaurants and food trucks on the island. We loved the key carded outdoor entry to the hotel when we stayed out late. We never felt unsafe and were welcomed by security staff one night around midnight to ensure we got in safely. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Take your spouse/partner ASAP! You won’t regret it! BOOK THE TRIP!

Isla Mujeres has an amazing island vibe but Lotus elevates that to another level. The staff is the best with the most friendly and accommodating people on the island. Alexander, Ulysses, and Juan just to name a few but all amazing. It’s located at the northern tip of Isla attached to Guru beach club with one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The food is fabulous and there are many other restaurants near by as well. I’ve stayed at other locations around Isla but Lotus is the only place I stay now.

Just returned from our second wonderful stay at Lotus. The staff was great . Alex, Ullysses and Dona went above and beyond at the front desk to take care of all of our needs. Especially making sure we were happy with our room. Over the course of our trip we stayed in two rooms and they were both lovely. The bar and restaurant staff was always super accommodating as well. Also, I must also mention Rudy, who handled our housekeeping, etc. He was a pleasure to deal with for the second year in a row. We can't wait to return next year.

We live in Puerto Cancun. Came over for one night. First time staying at Lotus. Great staff. Great views from our room which had a plunge pool. Very quiet at night. Great sunrise view. Had a good time at Guru’s beach club which is part of the hotel.

Amazing hotel, brilliant atmosphere with brilliant entertainment staff especially Abigail, ozge pikacu and ms sofiene! Brilliant food, drinks and service from all staff! Brilliant water sports which you can get onsite and just a great atmosphere experience!

Traveled to Isla Mujeres with a friend for a mellow, serene week in the sun. That’s not exactly what I found. Instead, I found myself at a lovely, upbeat, small resort staffed by the most helpful, friendly and dedicated people I have met anywhere. The Lotus is directly next to the Guru Beach Club which offers lounges, food, drink , infinity pool , & Playa Norte,a beautiful white sand, turquoise water beach filled with young, fun loving couples, singles & families. The rooms at Lotus are spacious and comfortable,especially the beds. The included continental breakfast of fruit, yogurt, granola and toast was more than ample and served indoors or outside overlooking the beach. Music is always pervasive, and ( much to my chagrin,) a DJ playing VERY loud music was there on the weekend. (A peaceful , superb yoga studio across the road was my saving grace). The fact that almost everyone at Lotus Beach and Playa Norte was probably 3-4 decades younger definately explains things. Nevertheless I had a wonderful time and highly recommend this hotel. Kudos to Alexander, Ulysses, Donna and everyone at Guru BC - an outstanding group ( & not bad for the eyes either )

Had a great stay at the Lotus. Alexander, the manager, reached out to me before going to the hotel to ensure he had all our information. Checked in and our room was ready and it was absolutely beautiful. We had ocean front and we had our windows open all night listening to the ocean. Perfection. My friend and I spent all our days by the pool and beach. Service was great. Continental breakfast is included which is a fruit plate,orange juice, coffee, white toast, yogurt, and granola -- a lot of food! But they have a full menu if you want to get eggs -- which I did - my poached eggs were perfect every morning. At the pool we had Juan taking care of us. He was very attentive. Great ceviches, sandwiches, excellent french fries! And the drinks always great. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thank you to all the staff for their attention.
