The City Lodge recensioner

I booked this accommodation many months in advance for my trip. Sunny (the hotel owner) is friendly and responsive. He offered to arrange the travel paperwork, airport transfer, and provided general advice relating to Pakistan and Islamabad. I asked him about postage stamps and postcards, and surprisingly, he was so kind to walk to the shop to take photos for some postcard booklet and arrange it for me as a welcome gift. I highly appreciated his warm hospitality very much. The breakfast at the hotel is also delicious. We had further conversation, then a catch-up dinner after my trip outside Islamabad. He is a young and ambitious guy with a bright future with a big dream to run and grow in the hospitality industry. I wish to revisit his hotel and meet him next time. Thanks very much for a good impression of Pakistan :)

For the price paid I would rate this establishment 5/5. The location is G6/4 which is a central and affluent neighbourhood. The twin room was large and cost-effective and the water was always hot, and the WiFi strong. The staff were all especially helpful and friendly too. The only recommendations I would make regard the bedroom fridge which has not been cleaned in a long time...and the laundry, which could be less expensive. Aside from these things, all was well :)

Hotel rooms were a good size and bed was very comfy. Actual hotel rooms are in need of redecorating with paint peeling off walls. Staff very friendly. Bang on if you’re a solo traveller on a budget. No sign of anyone for breakfast though

The place is a bit far from places of interest and you always need to take a taxi to and from the places you want to go. The owner has been really good and really helpful.

老闆很好，很熱情！也會根據你的經濟，讓你有更多的選擇，説實在的，雖然説不如豪華的星級酒店那麼富麗堂皇，我這種來老巴家裡做客的感覺！衞生個人感覺不錯，你家縣城親戚家的感覺。設施浴霸，馬桶，空調，風扇，基本設施都有，就是沒有問該如何洗衣服！手洗，還是機器，這個猶豫來這裏的第三天，所以也沒有那個需要。服務很熱情，老闆人也很厚道，街道外面基本都是個人的自建房，各種自我個性的自建！沒有農村那麼整齊劃一！每個都要有自己的理念！
