Wish we could have stayed longer. Ian and Christine are wonderful hosts. They truly love what they do, and it shows in every way. They cooked amazing breakfast each morning, were interested in our plans and provided tips that made our trip more enjoyable. The separate bedroom and living room is a great perk. And the views are unbeatable too. Highly recommend this gem.

Situated just at the edge of Dunvegan, this is a perfect place to use as a base for your adventures on Skye. Ian and Christina were engaging, interesting hosts who made us feel completely at home. In addition to a very comfortable bedroom and bathroom, we also had a private lounge/ breakfast room. While this may seem odd for a b&b (not having breakfast with your fellow travelers and getting to know them a bit) it did provide a wonderful opportunity to chat with Ian and Christina to discuss our plans both for our current trip and in the future, as well as hearing about their travel plans. Very entertaining! The breakfasts? Wow!!! I've never had both duck and venison for breakfast before, but I had them twice while staying here. Amazingly great breakfasts that really set you up for the day. Everything you'd want to see on Skye is easily reachable from here. I'd stay here again, no question!!

I would have loved to have stayed here longer. This B&B has marvelous hosts and a one-of-kind room/private-lounge arrangement. First, about the hosts: Ian and Christine see to it that you are set to go each day with a hearty as-Scottish-as-you-wish breakfast, for which there are plenty of meat and meatless options, and with as much or as little advice as you would like for how to spend the day ahead. I sought out Ian’s suggestions about the sort of things that we like to do (lengthy walks/history/geology), and the entirety of Ian’s information was spot on. This greatly enhanced our stay. As for the room/private-lounge: The room has plenty of space to circulate and the bathroom sparkles, though where this B&B shines is in the private lounge. Each guest has their own. It’s yours alone, to use the tables, sofa, refrigerator, kettle, and extensive library however you like. We spent mornings and evenings there, at the 4’ by 7’ (!) picture window, taking in the fields, hills, peaks, birds, and overall stunning landscape. The inviting village of Dunvegan is a 3-minute drive or 18-minute walk away. This B&B is well worthwhile and in itself added quite a bit of enjoyment to our time in Skye.

We loved our 2 night stay here. Breakfast made to order was exceptional! Our 2 room accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Not near restaurants and cannot bring in takeaway was the only drawback.

Hosts friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Place spotless, bed really comfy, everything as advertised, own room and sitting room. Breakfast local/homemade and beautifully presented. Hosts take great pride in everything they do and it shows. Left feeling well rested on our tour of Scotland ready for part 2.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach ein Traum! Die Gastgeber Ian und Christine waren unglaublich herzlich, extrem hilfsbereit und offen. Besonders schön war der separate Raum, in dem wir in Ruhe sitzen und essen konnten. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, mit einem grossen und ultra-gemütlichen Bett – so gut haben wir lange nicht mehr geschlafen! Die handgeschriebene Willkommenskarte war eine liebevolle Geste, die uns sehr gefreut hat. Das Frühstück war fantastisch, man konnte alles nach Wunsch auswählen, und es hat unglaublich gut geschmeckt – das Porridge war der absolute Hammer! Zudem liegt die Unterkunft sehr nah am Dorf, was für uns perfekt war. Vielen Dank nochmals an Ian und Christine für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
