Daymonth Hotel

First day, Air con wasn’t working so we tried explaining to the staff/ manager who spoke very little English. Google translate was useless. Manager, jack the lad type came up with a brilliant idea of moving us to a smaller room where the air con was working. We had to agree as it was hot, late an we were tired from travelling . The tv wasn’t working, although we weren’t bothered with that. On the bed, we found a dark hair so I used my towel as a sheet the first night. Everyday we struggled to communicate with the staff, they just about managed to book us a taxi. That was for the only member of staff bharaan . He was happy to help an wore a smile. Everyday we went out, a certain staff member would say “checking out today” ??! Which was really Annoying. We hardly slept the week that we were there. It was noisy, loud…. People slamming doors to couples arguing! We were happy when our holiday came to an end! We would not recommend as the hotel is in a residential area an the locals hardly sleep. Also travelling sightseeing is a nightmare from the hotel, especially if you are using taxis……either they want to rip you off or they don’t want to take it you because of the traffic. The metro is ok when you get the hang of it.
