Lovely hotel and super helpful staff! Great location, close to main attractions, amenities and tram.
Only issue was foul smell from the bathroom/ drains, which was a pain if the bathroom door was left open. However very clean and tidy overall. WiFi signal was great, although my parents had poor signal in the -2 basement level.

Ооочень маленький отель в центре старого города, в двух шагах от Цистерны Базилики. Все достопримечательности в шаговой доступности - очень удобно. Минус только в том, что отель расположен высоко на горе 😂 неспортивным людям было тяжеловато подниматься пешком 😂
Персонал очень вежливый - проблем с сервисом не было. Номер очень маленький, но в нем есть все, что нужно, даже микро-балкон для тех, кому надо покурить

SCAM Do not reserve this hotel, especially if you are looking for family room. Although we had reservation for family room, suddenly our reservation has changed to family economy basement room. We managed to find out that this is a practice in that hotel. And if you come to a hotel, not noticing that, thay will promise you that thay will give you another room, but that will never happen, or, in best case, that will happen on the last day. They remained silent on our requests. They don't respect guests. BE VERY CAREFULL. All economy rooms are in the basement and they are very bad

This is the second time I've visited this hotel. The location of the hotel is exceptional—just a 2-3 minute walk to the tram, connecting you to the entire Istanbul. The rooms are clean, breakfast is good, and the staff is friendly towards guests. Eren, thank you for your assistance during our stay. However, the hotel doesn't stand out with any remarkable amenities.

We really enjoyed our interaction with the respectable receptionist, Eren. His friendly and humorous nature instantly put us at ease. He even kindly offered us tea and allowed us to use the printer for our boarding passes. Such a welcoming attitude truly enhances the overall experience. However, this was our 6th stay at Leyanda Hotel since 2016, and we were disappointed with our experience in 2023. We noticed several areas where the hotel has regressed. First and foremost, the increased pricing didn't align with the value we received. Unfortunately, there were no perks or discounts offered for loyal customers, which was quite disheartening. The behaviour of the other receptionists during our stay was a stark contrast to Eren and our previous visits. They were rude, lacked basic manners, and seemed unwilling to assist with any of our requests. When we requested an extension of our stay at a discounted rate, we were quoted a higher price than what was available on ***********. One of the major letdowns was the breakfast. In previous years, it was a delightful spread with a wide variety of options. However, this time, it was notably limited, with an excessive focus on cheese and salad. While cheese can be enjoyable, we missed the variety of fruits, cakes, and hot items that were once offered. The use of large bowls instead of packaged jams and chocolate spreads made things messy and less appealing. Chipped tea cups were not expected, and the tea itself left much to be desired. It tasted like hot water and was clearly not brewed properly. Even the tea facilities in the room were lacking, with small disposable cups, unlike the proper tea cups found in most boutique hotels. Maintenance issues were prevalent throughout our room. One of the bedside lamps was missing. Additionally, a cupboard handle was also missing and it took a complaint to have one replaced. The bedside table had a broken glass, and a sharp edge posed a safety hazard. Finally, the shower gutter had a drainage problem, which resulted in water pooling during showers. It's our hope that these issues can be addressed to bring Leyanda Hotel back to the high standards we had experienced on our previous visits

We had the best and most helpful service by Celal and Yakup at reception. Nothing was a bother and they provided great service with a smile making us feel comfortable in a new city. Thank you for all that you did, we really appreciated it! Would love to be back to visit you both again.

Itis absolutely a disgusting hotel with disgusting stuff. Booked this hotel for 3 nights it stuck of bo specially in the rooms it was horrible. Hotel manager Eren a total joke, promised us a early check-in and a decent room. Gave us the horrible room and soo small for a family. Asked him to move us to the next room as it looks slightly bigger, he turned around and said, I have a family coming in this room tomorrow and who came the next day, it was an couple. Gave us ripped towels everyday with stains on it disgusting. I didn't take much notice of the negative feedbacks but now I understand why. Never ever again, do not make this mistake. The day I checked out, after couple days he calls me swearing over the phone. I wonder why people say soo many bad things about Istanbul and their people. Now I understand why Istanbul not getting many tourists. AVOID AT ALL COST if you don't want to be disappointed.

Un día antes de mi viaje, una persona que no conozco (Eren) se pone en contacto conmigo a través de Whatsapp para indicarme que yo debía de cancelar mi reserva porque la habitación que me habían asignado estaba en mantenimiento y no me poden hospedar. Les indico que se comuniquen a través de booking y no lo hacen. Llamo al servicio de atención al cliente de booking y estos me confirman que mi reserva sigue en pie. Al llegar al hotel, a las 22h el recepcionista me indica que todas la habitaciones están ocupadas y que no me pueden dar mi habitación. Que yo tendría que haber cancelado cuando me lo dijeron por whastapp. Me ofrece realojarme en otro hotel de calidad inferior que se encontraba a la vuelta de la calle, teniendo que pagar más dinero que el que me había costado este. Al estar en otro país, con otro idioma, con más de 6 horas de viaje encima, no me quedó otro remedio que aceptar. Mientras intentaba gestionar la incidencia con booking, escuchaba como el recepcionista hablaba por teléfono con otra persona y le contaba la situación, soltando carcajadas de burla. Como si encima la situación fuera graciosa.

Отель имеет хорошее расположение. В пешей доступности много достопримечательностей. Рядом остановка транспорта (трамвай), через остановку на трамвае ,станция метро. Сам отель твердая тройка. Уборка в номерах так себе, но нас там практически и не было. Все принадлежности в номере есть,но т к у нас были свои, (мы не просили пополнить ) они и не пополняли...но если сказать,я думаю проблем не будет. На ресепшн один молодой человек говорит по-русски и на раздаче в столовой тоже девушка говорит по русски. Завтрак нормальный, голодный не уйдешь,но однообразный. Вид на Босфор великолепный, но на открытую террасу не выходили завтракать так как очень жарко и как по мне(чаек бьюсь) они прилетают и попрошайничают.

Alloggiato solo una notte, il personale appena arrivato non mi ha ispirato molta fiducia. Ottima la posizione. Stanza piccola e sporchina. Colazione accettabile, però con una bella vista sulla città. Servizio transfert per aeroporto così cosi, accettava solo cash. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo.

хороший уютный отель , брали семейный номер 3 взрослых + 1 ребенок, останавливались на 2 ночи. Большое спасибо Эрену и всему замечательному персоналу . Очень вкусные завтраки . Расположение удобное, все достопримечательности рядом . Рядом с отелем есть Serefiye Sarnici эффектное лазерное шоу, вторая Базилика, но без очереди и немного дешевле по цене .
