We stayed at this hotel at the end of July this year. Initially, we booked three nights, but about a week before our trip, we decided to stay in Istanbul for only two nights, so we canceled one night in accordance with their policy since we had a refundable rate. This hotel was recommended to us by our travel agent, and I booked a city view room. However, upon check-in, we discovered that the windows did not offer a city view at all but instead looked directly at a construction site. We were essentially in the middle of a construction zone. I am attaching photos and videos to this review. I informed our agent, but there was nothing they could do. The hotel didn’t notify them about this, and consequently, we were not informed either. We thought, "Well, it is what it is." We didn’t complain and just tried to enjoy our stay. As for the rooms, they were certainly not what we expected or what was shown in the photos. The rooms are very outdated. The breakfast was not tasty, and the selection was very limited. The standard of the rooms and food is more in line with a three-star airport hotel. When we were checking out, we encountered another issue: due to the construction, our taxi couldn’t get close to the hotel and had to park about a 5-7 minute walk away. We had four large and two small suitcases, and you can see in the video how we had to get to the car. But that's not all. Despite the hotel clearly not meeting the standards of a four -star (google shows me it's actually a five star) establishment—in fact, as I mentioned earlier, it’s more like a three-star airport hotel—they still haven’t refunded us for the night we canceled. It has been a month now, and initially, they told our travel agent: "Refunds are issued once a week, but I think yours was skipped. I informed our accounting department again. I will ask them to refund you this week." We received this email a week ago, but still no refund for our two rooms. They claim "refunds are issued once a week," but it has been four weeks. It seems they keep "skipping us." This hotel rightfully earns the title of the worst we have ever stayed in.From start to finish, everything was bad, but we never complained to anyone. I usually don't write reviews - good or bad, I'm only writing this review now because their behavior has crossed the line. Not only do they fail to provide the expected service, but they also outright deceive people. P.S. I tried to download the videos, but TripAdvisor wouldn't allow it, so I took screenshots from the videos instead. This way, you can see how we got to the taxi.
