Hotel Golden Way Giyimkent

This hotel is NOT 4 stars. 2 or 3 at most. Very worn out and dated. The reception was friendly. Room was ok, floors were not clean, parts where it was sticky and found pistachios shells laying around. Bathroom has a dodgy smell, everything is old. The bed was good, linen great but the pillows were all of different makes and sizes. The tv in the room did not work, the air conditioning did not work and the telephone did not work; so wasn’t able to call reception because of very loud guests that seemed to be throwing a party as 1am. The staff does not comprehend English at all (but that’s a trait for Turkey). The breakfast…skip it, it is a joke, can’t even begin to describe it. Only stayed here because it was part of a hair transplant package. Tip: if you can, stay somewhere else, the location is awful, there are NO cafes, restaurants or convenience anywhere close.

Extremely disappointed with the hotel manager behavior. Could not believe the hotel hire the manager with 0 service mindset. My hair dryer was not working and they sent a person to fixed it. It was not fixed properly and a manager came just to force me and threaten me to take the room with a grumpy face like I asked him to stay at the hotel free of charge. The cleanliness is not good. Refer to the pictures. If you're looking for a hotel to stay in Istanbul, just avoid this one. For the hotel management who may happen to read this review. I stay on the night of Friday 3 Jan 2025. And the worst acting manager was in charge that night a tall skiny guy. Go figure.

A run-down hotel in an industrial part of Istanbul, with a view on an industrial estate. I only stayed here because I had to as it was the only accommodation provided by the hospital at which I was a patient. The breakfast is decent, but the service is close to what I would expect from the security guards at a medium security prison. Most of the staff is grumpy and the restaurant manager himself, rather than setting an example to his waiting staff, was the most impolite person I've ever been 'served' by at a hotel: aggressive and rude when I questioned the details of a bill for a meal I had just had.

This hotel is pathetic, no Ac working , they charged me for water , no good food , breakfast meal is a kind of scam what they do , behaviour of reception staff is bad , they dont know English, my overall experience was horrible

My Instabul trip would be better if I wouldn't go at this hotel . Breakfast was the same all days , and used more than 1 time. Not a typical turkish breakfast . I was very disappointed ! Rooms were very little and the hotel location away from attractions. About the service , nobody from staff could speak English . Totally NOT RECOMMENDED!

Qualità dei servizi molto scarsa. Il personale non parla inglese ed è stato molto scontroso e non collaborativo. L'Hotel è in una zona poco attraente e lontano almeno 40 di taxi dalle attrazioni più note di Instambul. L'aria condizionata è stata sempre guasta Camere appena decenti, non certo da Hotel a 4 stelle. Il ristorante è molto scadente come la colazione. Scosiglio di andarci
