Receptionist like Şefika should not work in hospitality at all as she doesn't know how to talk normally with people. Extremely rude lady and impolite. Been to Istanbul million times and never had in my life such experience!! just horrible and will never come again!

Excellent location if you don't want to travel but sadly in a very poor quality hotel, a little bit outdated for a 4 Star hotel don't expect the same standard as a UK 4 star hotel. The good things going for the hotel the location, also the food wasn't over priced. The bad things 1) the staff were unwelcoming, i only found one member of staff who was friendly and helpful, he worked in the evening shift. No one smiles or makes you feel at home. 2) the poor cleansings off the room, I had the disabled room, it had a large wet room which was excellent except for the chair that was put there for a disabled person to sit on, it felt dangerous to sit on and looked like it was home made. The cleaning lady isn't doing her job properly, on one occasion I reported to the front reception how dirty the floor was, they provid slippers in the room, I wore one as my other foot is on the wheelchair foot rest , than I noticed how filthy the bottom of the slipper was and I decided to show it to hotel reception and spoke to who I thought was the manager, I felt his attitude was so what, however he did ask the cleaner to mobe the floor, there also so much dust everywhere. The cleaner bless her on one occasion as ther were two pairs of slippers took 3 of the 4 slippers away and left me with one 🤔 on one occasion I came back to my room only to find the card that turns the light on was missing, she must have taken it away perhaps she is trying to save the hotel on the electricity bill. At the moment I have been booked in this hotel for 5 days stay as I am here in Turkey to have serious work on my teeth so I already have too much stress as it is and didn't really want anymore. To get to reception from the front entrance there is a very steep slope which as a wheelchair user it's impossible to get yourself up there however the staff always helped to push me up the slope which was really nice. Another issue you to mention the towels in the bathroom were too high to reach which something the staff should be aware off. The cleaning lady made me feel uncomfortable fishing for tips another British visitor told me he had the same experience. The breakfast food was ok with a lot of choice but needs improvement as this is meant to be a 4 star hotel. Overall I give it 1 star and I am very surprised it has such a good rating. Hopefully the management would take notice of my comments and hopefully I have given them some advice to bring this beautifully located hotel in to the year 2023.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days (from 21st - 30th Aug) with breakfast during our visit at Istanbul. The room that we booked was with 3 beds, however, it was a twin and added one foldable bed (sofa) which wasn't what we booked initially prior to our visit. We tried to change the room and it was not easy, as we had lots of luggage and not easy to move and we were not happy they moved our stuff without us being there. The housekeeping was very poor, no changing of bed sheets, under the bed was lots of dirt and wasn't cleaned every day. I even left an empty 500ml water bottle as a test and wasn't removed for 7 days. The lobby is warm and no aircon. The breakfast was the same for the 7 days and very few selections for 4 stars hotel. We had to eat outside some days. The rooms are pricey and not worth that money. Also, I asked reception for a TV remote battery which they didn't provide within 24hrs which I had to get one by myself. The laundry service was overpriced and not well dry-cleaned. I highly don't recommend this hotel. The only thing is the location, however there many hotels in the area.

This is a horrible hotel, please dont be fooled by the photos, they are completely fake. The rooms are in poor state, hallways are dirty, room service is a joke to say the least. A pair of very expensive shoes got stolen from the closet in my room and they did nothing to address the situation. Stay away from this place and stay elsewhere.
