This is the first time I’m writing a hotel review—I’ve never felt compelled to do so before, but this experience leaves me no choice. 1. We have three children and specifically requested connecting rooms. Despite being promised twice that it would be arranged, nothing was done. The front desk staff seemed to dismiss our concerns without any resolution. 2. We left our children at the kids club at 11 AM, but were never informed that they don’t provide food. When we returned at 5 PM, we found our children crying and hungry. It’s unacceptable not to communicate such a crucial detail to guests. 3. We booked four spa sessions, and all of them were scheduled incorrectly. Additionally, the staff struggled to communicate in fluent English. 4. The valet service was a nightmare. They couldn’t find our car and blamed us for not having a valet ticket, even though we were never given one in the first place. Thirty minutes later, they found the ticket and admitted it was misplaced by their staff. For those who spend good money, I strongly advise against staying here. The Ciragan Palace down the road offers a far superior experience—attentive staff, better breakfast, and overall excellent service. I will never stay at the Mandarin Oriental again. It’s an absolute disappointment. That being said the rooms are good. And the cleaning staff are friendly.

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. It was beautiful. The most comfortable bed, amazing shower, but the very best part was the service. Batuhan made our stay perfect and helped set us up with everything we could ever need. 5 star stay all the way.

All parts of the hotel are great , except the Italian restaurant inside the hotel, it was a very bad experience. 1- stuff is not experienced at all. The way they serve you feel it's a street caffe stuff. 2- Cheating on prices, at the end of the menu page, they wrote with very small letters about extra coverage, which it's not written at the gate of the restaurant. I don't mean the service 10%,no extra, they take it without any rights. 3- We talked with someone from the management, but he declared that the restaurant is out of their control. A thousand times many coustmers get cheated without knowing. It's really pity, a beautiful location with un experienced stuff and not honest.

What an amazing hotel! The service is absolutely impeccable from the moment we arrived everything ran perfectly without any issues at all. We changed reservations and asked for additional items for our room and everything was dealt with immediately Eren was brilliant every morning we received a welcoming message which definitely made you feel good for the day ahead thank you for your service!

Mandarin Oriental always will have a special place in my heart. It is where I will keep returning time and time again for business, for a great dining spot, for a breathtaking view of the Bosphorus and most importantly -- to spend time with my partner. From the very moment you enter the MOIST estate, you are welcomed in and that is when the magic starts. During check-in, I was introduced to the most brilliant Mr. Batuhan, who helped with every little thing my partner and I could ever want or need. There was no request too small, no ask foolish for Batuhan. He took it upon himself to make the entire visit to the Mandarin Oriental such a unique, special and magical experience for us that we will never forget him and for good reason. He was happy to give us a tour, share facts about the hotel, the skyline across the Bosphorus and recommend places to dine among so much more. He was professional but funny, he was informative, so easy to get on with and had an all-around wonderful personality to have around and only a small text away. I owe it to Batuhan, the Mandarin Butler, for making this experience so lovely and really helping us bring magic into reality. His superb service and real passion for what he does makes me have no doubt in my mind that he will progress in his career and I wish for him to do so. When we do return back to Istanbul and to MOIST, I wish he is still there to be able to greet us. Mandarin Oriental is much more than just a hotel you stay at. It's an experience, a home away from home, a second family you get to know and Batuhan really made us feel welcome into the family and for that, Batuhan, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I recently had a wonderful stay at the Mandarin Istanbul Hotel. The experience was truly exceptional, thanks to the warm and attentive service provided by Beyza. She went above and beyond to ensure my visit was comfortable and memorable. Her professionalism and kindness made all the difference, and I can’t thank her enough. Highly recommended!
