The reception was excellent, the employee was very helpful and polite, and he upgraded the room to a suite. The service was excellent, the restaurant was very good, the food was varied, and the stay was excellent.

By the time we stayed at Occidental Taksim we had been road tripping in Turkey for six weeks so we had stayed in a lot of hotels. Occidental Taksim is perfectly located for stress free exploring of the Asian side of Istanbul. The hotel is immaculately maintained while the bed was definitely the best we’d had the pleasure of sleeping on our entire holiday. We did use the gym (it was one of my prerequisites) and as other reviewers have noted it is tiny but also the equipment does need upgrading. We also had a hamam which is operated independently which I would rate as an average experienc.

Amazing hotel, I was there for four nights with my wife and two more couples.
The location is awesome, bars and restaurants near by.
Taksim square and Istiklal 2 minutes from hotel.
I have only good words to say about this hotel. Realy enjoyed my stay there

Отличный отель. Рекомендую к заселению. Удобное месторасположение. Метро, автобус в аэропорт, фуникулер к морю и паромам. Входит в международную испанский сеть Барсело. Стойка регисирации круглосуточная. Ресторан на первом этаже. Завтраки на втором, по завтракам вопросов нет. Все отлично. Свежие овощи и фрукты. Все продукты вкусные. Практически все окна в номера выходят на темную сторону. А значит можно спокойно поспать и в номере не душно. Номера старые но ухоженные. Все очень чисто. Белье новое. Кровати большие и удобные.

В номере всё оч чисто, но там, где стоит чайник, уже немного скопилась пыль (скорее всего в номер давно никого не заселяли). Во всем остальном идеально чисто.
Оч удобная кровать с подушками. Тихо.
Оч вкусный завтрак - есть всё, вегетарианцы тоже найдут что поесть (горячие овощи, хумус, фалафель, куча сладких вкусностей, сыров разнообразие).
Кофе из кофемашины посредственнфй.
Большой минус для меня: когда я пошла в душ, оказалось, что шампунь в емкости для шампуня закончился (!) У меня не было времени звонить и попросить принести. Это непозволительно на мой взгляд. Пришлось помыть голову гелем для душа(((. За 8500руб этого не ожидаешь.
И бассейн, и спа работают с 11 утра. Я на них рассчитывала. А в 10 мне уже нужно в аэропорт. Нигде об этом не было написано.
