Beşiktaş Serenity Hotel

I really liked the hotel, there was a teenager named atacem working at the hotel, I really liked the way he worked and tried to learn his job, I will visit this hotel again, excellent location, the staff was very helpful and kind, also as like I said, the teenager there is trying to learn his job, working somewhere at this age. I recommend this hotel to everyone

Average stay. Hotel lift makes a clunking noise when people use it and keeps you awake during the night. Two times there’s been issues with the water. One being not working at all, and the second one no hot water at all! Located right next to a main road which never seems to get quite! You awoken by the call for prayer tanoid every morning for those who are religious locals. Food near the hotel is mainly fast food and cafe’s, nothing really healthy around the area. There’s a phone inside the room which has no directory so calling reception is just a guessing game. Rooms were substantially clean but could be better. Not a very touristy area, I visited for a hair transplant as the clinic was nearby to Beşiktaş, however there are limited people who speak English, the vast majority of menus are in Turkish which is somewhat difficult to understand when ordering food. The breakfast food provided by the hotel is below par. The one time I went there over my period of 3 nights and 4 days they had provided pancakes, some honey, jam and then some salad and some very synthetic squash. To get food from the “supermarkets” isn’t great either, they provide fruit, some packed croissants and loads of chocolate/sweets, then obviously your drinks. That’s it. The hotel staff are friendly and catered for your needs. I feel that the hotel could be so much better with small improvements. Netflix in each room for entertainment, make sure the phones are clear to understand and have a directory. Upgrade the food to more choice as well. Overall I won’t be coming back here to Beşiktaş and the hotel stated within this review.
