Writing this while currently here. Staff checking in was rude, whatever I can live with that. Went to the room did some work for couple hours then went out to grab a couple things from some stores. Got back to the room, as my service dog was eating and getting a drink, I noticed several bugs on the walls. Mostly lady bugs but still not looking to have bugs in the room. While taking pictures of all, I noticed one was a bed bug......gross. Caught it in a cup, packed up my stuff and went down stairs to give it to front desk and they did not seem too surprised to see it. Their stellar customer service was "so what do you want me to do" I said I most definitely want a different room ideally on a different floor. Got to my new room, trying to settle in and do some work before going to bed and what sounded like people tipping furniture over was coming from the room upstairs. Tried to call downstairs but the phone in the room doesn't work. So called on my cell and said it is early enough now but there is no way that noise can continue. 11pm now and people above are stomping and banging like they are having a pro wrestling match. Called down very angry and I will at least say front desk worker came up and said she is looking into it. If I had to choose between staying here again or staying in my car, I would stay in my car. And I spend several tens of thousands of dollars at IHG properties. To other people's posts, it is dirty as well. Dirty shower, dirty carpet, dirty walls. Just yuck. No pride of ownership or management.
