After a delayed flight, it was fantastic to be welcomed back to the Atrium Platinum. The hotel had arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport, and even though we were delayed five hours, we were welcomed into the taxi. Nice start. The hotel offered room service in lieu of our evening meal which was really welcome and an early reminder of the perfect service we were going to receive. The room was great - third floor with a view over the pool and sea. What a view ! It was just like coming home and seeing old friends, from the wonderful ladies on reception, the pool staff making sure that the pool area was ready for everyone to enjoy the day. The warm morning greeting from the hotel room ladies and they did not mind that I got my Kalimera with Kalispera, mixed up we all just laughed just lovely. Restaurant staff were always happy to greet each guest and show you to the table, we were often very lucky to have a table by the window and on the evening, it was just wonderful as you could see the sun setting over the mountains of Turkey. One of the highlights was the cooking on the Friday with Johan, the executive sous chef we were lucky to learn how to make traditional Greek Melitzanosalat (Eggplant Salad) it was delicious and we were all able to eat our creation and take away with us for a later snack. Will definately take the cookery course next time. Please give it a try as you will not be disappointed. Will look forward to seeing you all again sometime soon.
