An amazing break. The highlights are that this is a family run hotel who really care about you and your needs. The rooms are very nice and well equipped. The location is superb with several supermarkets and eating establishments within a few metres along with two sports bars for those missing the sports at home. Superb pool which is actually deep enough to swim in!! Nice views across the see whilst being off the main road and hence quiet from the traffic. Over the road to the beach.The hidden gem is the affiliated restaurant The Coconut which I will review separately. Without a doubt The best restaurant we tried in the whole of Rhodes. It was truly outstanding. There is no bar around the pool but if the big hotel scenario is your choice there are many nearby but I can guarantee you will not get as warm and welcome or friendlier stay then here at the Caravel.

The accommodation is brilliant, the rooms spacious and the overall facilities, like swimming pool, food and location superb. Good hospitality from the staff and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a perfect relaxing holiday in Rhodes

Very nice room/apartment, we lived next to the pool with a big space as our terrace. Good windows and doors with curtains to make it dark and netdoors that you can slide to get air in and keep the bugs out at night. Room was kept clean every day. Good bathroom and enough of a kitchen to get by. The hosts are so compassionate and really care for you. Very nice people that we will miss now when we go home. Great that you can leave the key when you go outside so you dont have to worry about it. Two good pillows each that are big. Blankets are available in the closet if you get cold. Would recommend this place for everyone, couples, families, going alone. Close to restaurants, shops, bus stop, taxi station, car rental, 4km to Rhodos town.

We arrived a few days after they reopened for the season. It was quiet but that meant we had the pool pretty much to ourselves! We booked a one bed apartment with twin rooms which was very spacious. It could accommodate two others in the living area on single beds. Not really an area we could lounge in and the TV was in the bedroom. We had a partial pool view to the left and sea view to the right with room 204. Great spot to enjoy the afternoon sun on the balcony. Nevertheless ample storage space with two wardrobes and lots of hangers. Kitchen had a decent sized fridge and basic items. You could use the hobs but there was no toaster. Plenty of places to eat out literally just to the left and right of the apartment. We ate at the connecting coconut restaurant once and they reminded us twice we get 10% off the bill so no awkwardness. The pool when busier might be more of a struggle to get past the sun loungers as it's a bit tight. Staff were lovely especially Nita. Highly recommend to anyone and the price is unbeatable. Much rather stay here than any of the neighbouring huge hotels.

The apartment we rented had everything we needed. It was clean and cozy. No problems with the air conditioning machines, we really appreciated those. The street is not a loud place, we could sleep very well at night. And the staff was very nice.

Our 8th year at this hotel and what a lovely hotel it is fabulous spacious apartment brilliant staff nothing is to much trouble for Nita and her team rooms are kept immaculate. Hotel is located in the centre of the ixia strip with bars and restaurants all less than a few minutes away.

Great accomodation with a very kind and helpful couple, who manage the hotel. Apartment is big and clean. I recommend the half board, because Coconout restaurant is delicious and have many offers to choose. Beach is near and also shops. Super holiday.

Another lovely comfortable stay at a lovely family run hotel. The owner cannot do enough for you, stayed many times & hope to return. Their restaurant Coconuts below hotel is also excellent with plenty of choice & amazing staff. Thanks

My wife and I got a very clean and roomy apartment with a wide balcony. The small kitchen was well organized and equipped. The hotel location is just excellent with a beach across a road, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and to a bus stop. It takes only 15 minutes to get to Mandraki marina in Rhodes Town. The Coconut Restaurant that is attached to the hotel serves delicious Greek food with 10% discount for hotel’s guests. The A/C in our room did not work well, so did the shower faucet. The bathroom itself, perhaps, needs renovation.
