Hey, the check-in experience was OK, he was very hard to understand, it did take quite a while to get me checked in. When I booked online. The room was clean, the shower head was way too low., and and it could not be adjusted. The water was nice and hot which was good. Normally you get a shampoo and conditioner and they gave two shampoos which didn’t make sense. The bed was clean and a little too hard for my liking. The breakfast the next morning was absolutely awful! The boiled eggs had a disgusting taste to them. They were completely an edible. The biscuits and gravy looked so good, when I got them, it was awful, the taste was absolutely disgusting, I could not eat it. I threw it all out!

I’ve stayed at the West Star Hotel many, many times and loved it. This last stay was horrible. It was clean enough, but the service was not good. One hand towel, two bath towels, no wash clothes. Good thing it wasn’t cold because the bedding was sparse. The breakfast was hardly anything. The ****** is still closed even though I read where it said it was open. Makes me very sad that it went down hill so bad. I stayed there because I travel alone with my dogs and I felt safe staying there. I hope the new management will make it nice again.

I was pleasantly surprised how clean the room was compared from older reviews. We arrived very late with a reservation and was checked in quickly. We were on a road trip and stayed just for a few hours before moving on, so we missed the continental breakfast. The room price was a bargain. We will return.

Not much on the outside - but once you enter you are greeted with the BIGGEST smile ever. Super friendly. Very clean and has what you need for a good nights sleep. Other casino's are a hop right across the road - so having no ****** or bar in the West Star is just fine. Just means you will get some good sleep. Nice little breakfast to enjoy before you hit the road too. We road a motorcycle and they were kind enough to give us a wash cloth to dry off the morning dew that was on the seat. We even stayed there on our way back home. So both visits were super great. And that smile is just awesome. Thank you West Star for a good stay.
