Let me start by saying that I've stayed at many Holiday Inn Express, but this by far was my worst experience. I recently went to a graduation that was at 8 pm causing me to arrive to my hotel just before 11 pm. Upon arrival the night staff was nice. Breakfast was scheduled to end at 9:30 am, but when my family and I came down at 9:00 am the breakfast area was COMPLETELY EMPTY. I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not as there were no muffins, bagels, eggs, and even no coffee. I then went to the front desk and ask if breakfast was still being served and she stated it should be since it was early. She then went and talked to the lady making breakfast, but she had an attitude and didn't want to make more. By this time another 3 - 4 families/groups staying at the hotel came down and all was upset about this as well. So by the time she brought a few more eggs and biscuits out, they were all hard and overcooked. Multiple people complained and the woman was rude stating that the only thing left she could really do is bake more eggs and sausage due to what time it was by now. So I had to go get my family Chic-fila and upon returning, we tried to request a late checkout so that we could have time to eat in the room and leave, but was told that the hotel had reach its max number of late checkouts for the day and they could only allow us to stay an extra 5 minutes pass 11. We ended up checking out and eating our breakfast in the lobby area afterwards. Also, due to the breakfast issue we occurred I was told that the manager was sent an email for this issue and will contact me on this issue, but 4 days later I have still not been contacted. I definitely do not recommend staying here and will be planning to stay at the La Quinta Inn located across the street upon my next visit instead.
