We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at McCully House , it is so full of history and character and truly blends 19th century charm with modern day amenities. We had a clean, spacious and comfortable room. The hosts were friendly & conscientious checking that we were happy and had everything we needed. Would recommend if you want something traditional and luxurious in Oregon.

Don’t tell anyone about this place unless they’re good decent people looking for a quiet clean place to stay. Quaint quiet manicured grounds and friendly staff. Super nice room. Quiet location and walking distance to restaurants. See the picture of our room.

We had an amazing stay this weekend. I don't think I've ever been to a more dog-friendly hotel. They even have a fenced in area for your dog to run around. Everything felt more like a 4 star hotel than three star hotel and this is much cheaper than pretty much anything else in the area. Thanks again!

Avoid … not sure how they received acceptable ratings. It’s been decades since we stayed anywhere with walls so thin the neighbors on both sides could be heard all night. And, this is gross, the bedding was « damp » or « clammy ». I am Not sure if it was the humidity in the room (it was not humid outside) or, more likely, a cheap plastic mattress cover. Coupled with a cheap worn blanket it was anything but a pleasant night. On a positive note one would walk to town.

The room where we stayed was called - The Library. It was amazing!! The room has a little library corner with a couch and fireplace, a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower room. I could have stayed in the library corner for weeks - there is an extensive collection of books in the room. Some of the books were quite old. McCully House even has a guest pantry with all kinds of goodies and delicious coffee. I would recommend having some honey in the guest pantry for those who do not like to eat sugar. The hostess - Kathryn - who checked us in for our anniversary stay was so nice and helpful. I would love to stay much longer.

This quaint little Inn has a bed and breakfast feel but the privacy and convenience of a big hotel. It was decently priced and was perfect for our little family. Breakfast was a nice continental and trays were available to carry items back to our room. Linda working the night desk made check in quick and easy. We will be back for sure

We enjoyed our stay at the McCully Inn and Historic Downtown Jacksonville. The inn was charming, clean and had all the amenities we needed. I love the creaking of the wooden floors, and authenticity of this old mansion. The common area pantry had fresh fruit, snacks, oatmeal, etc., and a top-of-the-line commercial coffee maker, where you just press a button and can have hot chocolate, or an expresso. The bed was comfortable. We stayed in room 10 which faces the busier road, so we could hear the cars, which didn't bother me, but my husband might have preferred a room in the back of the inn. However, I loved it. We never heard or saw the other guests. We ate at La Fiesta, The Bella Union, and the outdoor wine tasting room all are about t a 5-minute walk from the Inn and very good. Visit the visitor center, for a trolley tour, and other events.
