Alsisar Haveli - Heritage Hotel

This hotel reflects the architecture of the ancient times. The rooms are large, marbeld floors give you a cooling effect. Some of the rooms open to the courtyard. The high ceilings and light work provides an elegant touch. The only downside is that you have to climb the stairs to get to your room. This hotel does not have a lift The dining staff are friendly and always wanting you try various local cuisine. Particular mention to Shankar who made our dining experience great

This is a charming hotel with historic architecture and decor. The location is a bit strange as it is located between many auto repair shops in a not so great environment. But once you enter, it’s like an oasis of calm. The breakfast is served outside on a patio and is very pleasant. The first night we found the mattress to be very hard and we asked the front desk to address this. When we came back from touring, we found that they had replaced the mattress with a softer one. The staff is very helpful and attentive.

I have stayed in hotels the world over. This one is by far the worst. Don’t be taken in by the photos. They don’t represent what it’s really like there. There is a horrible smell in the area that I can’t even describe. It permeates your hair, your skin and your clothing. Most of the plumbing does not work saggy old beds. Somewhat unfriendly waiters. My advice to you is run the other way!! This was a completely horrible experience.

Beautiful charming stay We stayed here with y friends all six of us and received upgrade upon arrival as well as adjacent rooms. The hotel feels like an oasis, the pool is wonderful and fresh with a little drink hut you can order from. The hotel itself is very beautiful and has charm the rooms are freshly renovated and the breakfast rom is stunning. We ate frequently at the hotel we were never disappointed in our food and the mango lassi was delicious. The rooms inside are well ventilated with strong ac and bathrooms are clean with soap and towels. Staff was kind and helpful. Overall our stay here was wonderful and relaxing and I would really recommend staying here.

The building has character that is the best I can say about it. From our arrival to checking out we've only once received poorer service from hotel staff in all our seven trips to India. Our room located up numerous winding concrete steps was very tired and could have done with a good clean. We never ate in the evenings during our stay so can't comment on that meal, however breakfast was very poor. We ate reasonably early but found that the food was barely warm and quite often the containers were almost empty. On one occasion another diner dropped a slice of bread on the floor and one of the waiters put it through the toaster and attempted to put it on my plate. As for the *** playing his instrument in the courtyard, it was okay once, however hearing the exact tune over and over again was a bit much. On the plus side I think he was the only member of staff that acknowledged us during our two night stay. The photos make this look like a lovely place to stay when actually it is quite the opposite!

Beautiful place in Jaipur to stay. People are nice in thé restaurant and réception, also the musician of the hôtel. Very good swimming pool and affordable food in the restaurant. Spécial mention for Stella the french bulledog. A part of History in Jaipur.
