Just completed an exceptional, bespoke tiger safari with Himanshu. Sighting 27 different tigers in two weeks made it by far the best Indian safari I have ever undertaken. Himanshu’s in depth knowledge of tigers as well as his local connections ensured the best drivers, guides and on the spot information on tiger locations and movements. He knows the birds and wildlife like the back of his hand. Apart from this, the organisation was excellent: great accommodation, food and flawless logistics made the trip completely smooth. To top it all Himanshu is a great and friendly host with a great supply of stories and in depth knowledge of wildlife, Indian history and culture. Did I mention that he’s also a top chef? ! All in all I would thoroughly recommend him for an exceptional experience!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Pratap Bhawan. Hosts Himanshu and Deepti were exceptional, from providing comfortable rooms, balcony drinks, amazing Rajasthani food and organizing any sightseeing or activities which interested us. A must stay if you are in Jaipur!

We are with the Globus tour. We have been in India since 1/18/25 and have been eating local food every night. A group of 17 ate dinner tonight hosted by Himanshu and his lovely family. The dinner was super delicious and better than any restaurant. His whole family was very kind and hospitable. I am very grateful to have met him and his family from thousands of miles away from home.

The experience was very enjoyable and comfortable. He showed us a cooking technique unique to his family and we all got involved. The food was very good and I enjoyed the home vibe. We also enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs. Overall great experience.

My mom and I traveled to India to explore the culture and enjoy safari. We booked our trip through an agency that informed us of a cooking class and dinner with a family in Jaipur, which we eagerly accepted, and I’m so grateful that we did. Himanshu and Deepti welcomed us into their home with open arms. We first conversed over drinks in their entry room, and then proceeded to the kitchen to learn a quick, easy, and delicious recipe. The best part of the experience was sharing a meal with them and their two daughters, learning more about their story. The whole operation feels like an homage to Himanshu’s mother, the person who taught him how to cook. I highly recommend this experience for anyone traveling to Jaipur, and I can genuinely state it was my favorite meal in India.

My friend and I were hosted by Himanshu and his wife and staff for a cooking experience and dinner. Their home is beautiful and the whole cooking demo was professionally done. Himanshu and his wife were so open and friendly and shared their passion of cooking. They made family recipes and the dinner afterward was delicious. The chicken pickle was extraordinary and I don’t think I’ll ever get to taste something like that again in the states.

My wife, mother-in-law and myself went for a cooking class and dinner experience. The family is lovely and easy to converse with. We learned a lot about their family and Indian culture through the conversation. The cooking experience was well planned. We learned to make one dish and two types of bread. They honored our dietary restrictions, and the entire experience was lovely. Would highly recommend to anybody that would like a more genuine experience of Jaipur culture.

The company and food were incredible. The family were happy to answer any questions we had around India - incredibly informative, relaxed and welcoming throughout. Genuinely do not have a bad word to say - the food, company and home itself was incredible.
