SaiRam We stayed at The Devi Ratn from 8th to 17th Sept’24. Tajness personified hospitality & architecture. Hence visited for the 2nd time within a span of 12 months. Team indulges you with their genuine love & care. Our last review was pretty detailed & this one is addition to the last one as Team has surpassed & outdone themselves in all areas. As it is said, a complete & finely curated experience by one & all starting from Raj Verma bhaai to Kanika to Rahul bhaai and everyone. The resort is luxury par excellence. Rooms are large & super comfortable. The commute within this amazingly landscaped resort is made easy thru buggy’s & cobblestone paths. The restaurant’s serve the very very flavourful & appetising of F&B. Front Office is very helpful in every possible manner. Housekeeping is top notch as well. Yatha Raja Tatha Praja, GM Mr. Santosh Shetty, Operations Head Mr. Srinivas Reddy and FnB Director Raj Verma ji elegantly runs the show, everyday all days. Chefs Sanjay, Chef Mohammed, Chef Shafik, Chef Sakshi, Chef Negi ji and all the Chefs ensure we are happily surprised at all times. Ms. Kanika & her Team always manages to indulge us with best of the rooms. Grateful to Rahul bhaai & Jitendra for ensuring Mummy room is exceptionally clean & everything needed is replenished before time. F&B team as always was simply amazing, ably lead by Raj Verma ji & Ajay bhaai ***** with Manvender & Pintu. Also, grateful to the FnB team who served us with utmost love & care: Naresh, Saurabh, Subhash, Sahil, Ayush, Himanshu, Nikhil, Nitin, Aniket & others. IRD Team of: Shiv, Raj, Himanshu. Would like to share our heartfelt thanks to Jagan who has been consistently amazing & thoughtful, swift & very kind. Thanks Jagan for being there for us. Additionally sharing our special thanks to Arun as well. Arun is so so nice, served us with zeal & love.. Arun is as good as his senior, our most fav, Ajay bhaai.. Thanks aLot Arun for everything you did for our happiness & comfort. You are as amazing as your mentors, Raj bhaai & Ajay bhaai. Though we met for the first time, Srinivas Reddy garu was so so nice in his interaction. A true blue Taj star, who has brought in further excellence in DeviRatn. We are also grateful to the Laundry Team for their excellent service on daily basis by drying clothes for us. Grateful to Buggy Team in their entirety for their hardwork day in day out. Special mention to Prem bhaai, whose service is exemplary. Stayed for just one night during mid-September, and I definitely need more nights here. Welcome: We were greeted with the sound of Nagada (Indian drums) accompanied by a Rajasthani folk song, followed by a refreshing welcome Shikanji. Check-in: Robin was very welcoming and upgraded us to a better room without us even asking. Since our room wasn't immediately ready, he arranged another room for us to refresh in after the long journey—a thoughtful touch. Roshan, the buggy driver, gave us a full tour of the property. He also arranged a cricket set for us to play on the grounds and took us to a scenic spot for sunset views and the play area. Room: The room was spacious and well-maintained, featuring a window seat—a nice touch. However, there’s a major drawback with the bathroom design. The open shower, commode, and wardrobe share the same space, making it very wet and inconvenient, especially when traveling with kids. The bathroom definitely needs better separation. Kids Play Area: It offers two PlayStations, carrom, a pool table, Jenga, and one slide. However, it needs more activities for younger children (under 4/5 years). While it’s well-maintained, the staff stationed here should monitor the area more closely. Dinner: The spread was good, and the live pasta counter was well-prepared. I ordered a few mocktails, which were nice, but the staff wasn’t very attentive during dinner. A big miss. Breakfast: The breakfast spread was also good, and this time, the staff was more attentive, especially Manvinder, who was constantly ensuring everything ran smoothly. The eggs and cold coffee were well-prepared, making it a very fulfilling breakfast. Things significantly improved once Manvinder got involved. Lunch: This is where Taj truly shines. Ajay Singh was the standout of our stay—compassionate, friendly, and an excellent host. The entire meal was delicious. Ajay’s knowledge and understanding of hospitality were top-notch. Upon learning we were checking out, he thoughtfully packed a "Khati roll" for our journey home. Later that night, he even messaged to check if we’d reached home safely. Checkout: The checkout process was quick and efficient, but a warm goodbye would have been a nice touch. I also had the chance for a brief conversation with GM Santosh Shetty. As a big Taj enthusiast, it was a pleasure speaking with him about his vast experience. He’s an attentive and gracious host, and I hope to hear more of his Taj stories next time. Drinks are on me, Santosh, when you are back in town! A Few Drawbacks: Some buggy and ground staff seemed a bit intrusive & creepy. Santosh, this is something that needs your attention. They lingered unnecessarily around the pool area and stared, which made us uncomfortable. A better understanding of guest privacy is needed. I spoke to someone on the phone who identified as the Duty Manager. She came across as rude and lacked compassion. Instead of helping with my query, she seemed unable to understand what I n

The staff is super caring and the luxury rooms are a delight. The location and the road leading to it is not very good and anyone will think twice about going to the forts nearby from the hotel, so if you are looking to just stay in the hotel, it’s nice.

Exceptional service & hospitality. I have stayed in multiple Taj properties but this was the best one till date. Their hospitality was unmatchable. Definitely a property worth going back. They make you feel so comfortable and the staff is very warm towards each guest.

Amazing experience at deviratn with friends. The food, the ambience, the service and overall the beautiful property was an outstanding experience. The service was extremely courteous and we had a royal time. I I would recommend this highly to everyone looking for a wonderful staycation in Jaipur.
