We booked this looking at all the positive reviews, but were let down when we finally landed there. The rooms were pretty small compared to what we had imagined. The beds were just about comfortable. The person incharge Mr. Himmat was very helpful, but that could not overcome the other things that could be improved. The food menu is standard for lunch and dinner on all days, which makes it kind of boring. I know it's in the middle of the desert, but for charging an arm and leg, there could atleast be some variety. The camel ride was just about ok, with the folks in charge of the camels asking for more money in case you wanted to go further deep into the desert. The ATV rides are a scam, do not go for them unless you are desperate. They claim to take you sand bashing for 15 min, but the ride is over in less than 5 min. It's the same story again where if you want to go deeper, they ask for exorbitant amounts. Again, if you've not done ATV rides in the sand, you might try it, else save your money. I've personally got better experiences in ****** in the Nubra valley. The resort does not provide you a heater by default in the cold weather and the first day some random excuse of the tent catching fire was given. On the second day when we insisted we needed it, we were given one. So if you are going in the winter, definitely ask for this, since you'll need it. Toiletries were not present when we checked in and we had to explicitly ask for it. Staff were helpful as much as they could. Overall an ok ok experience, but not out of the world.
