Radisson Hotel Jalandhar recensioner

The radisson was a lovely experience just a slight damp smell in room at times. Also so much more could be done in the eve outside pool area.

Once the best hotel in Jalandhar I'm sure, it's sadly stuck in the same year it was opened. It's looking quite dated and tired with very little to no maintenance apparent especially in the rooms. As you can see from my photos, the bathroom in particular was very sub-par. Taking a shower almost seemed like a trial - felt like I needed another shower to get over taking a shower. Shudder. Oddly angled toilet was novel too, as was the toilet roll holder being more than an arms length away - most odd. The wooden flooring in the room was badly scratched and large gaps were showing all ***** the length of the room in several places with some planks raised causing my toes to catch on the edges now and then. There was a large chunk missing from the marble top of the coffee table exposing sharp edges which I nearly caught my fingers on when adjusting my chair. Lighting is quite dull and not particularly bright, notable near the door area. And good luck trying to figure out how to turn off all the lights in one go when you're in bed - the only way was to turn the lamps off manually before lying down. On a safety note, the cord of the desk lamp was split exposing live wire and about to snap off too. What's with all the loud club music playing constantly in the lifts and restaurants and garden? Headche-inducing at best, so annoying and not in keeping with the ambiance at whatsoever! I feel sorry for any guests with rooms by the lifts, you know they're on the way before the doors even open. There was no noticeable cleaning of the floor either it seems. There was the same debris on the floor since I checked in, and never once heard a vacuum being used. On a positive note, the bed was firm but relatively comfortable. The main restaurant is ok, though selection is limited compared to other hotels I've stayed at, but quality is good. Services of the staff is also great and all look to be trying to do their best. Overall, for the prices being charged the place is sub-standard and is trying to still ride on the Radisson brand name and prestige it once had in the early 2000's. This place could be exceptional if it undergoes a major overhaul and modernisation of the rooms...and stops playing that DREADFUL club music!

Very nice hotel and food was great. Evening dinner and cocktails in the bar were of a very high quality. We had an issue with the breakfast where service was terrible, we had no napkins or cutlery on the tables. no glasses for the juice and cold paratha. i had to complain to the manager as there were so many things wrong with the morning breakfast service from the average standard of staff there to help. The other good things covered up the mess we had with the breakfast.

The best memorable stay I had ever had heritage like feeling.delicious food.value for money.staff is very helpfull. The rooms are awesome well maintained neat and clean.ambience of the rooms was marvelous.one should must visit this place once in a lifetime.

Quite an average hotel. The rooms are quite old, and the cleanliness is quite average. At breakfast, the tables were not clean. The staff is quite average, too. Would not like to stay here again. The hotel requires a complete makeover and the service needs to become a lot better for a good experience.

The staff of this hotel is very courteous and professional. They are always ready for every help. When we asked for any help they are always come with solution.

Very Nice and comfortable stay at Radisson Jalandhar. Really a top choice in the city and this the oldest hotel in the city still the perfect one. Their food is also very good, top notch services and their staff and their service is also commendable.

Lunch : Chef Ashish made Mexican food “ Mexican Fish “ for lunch …. Realty delicious …Yummy I visit raddison very frequently they have a good variety of different cuisines .. …….. Chef Ashish always makes custom made food with handpicked spices and veggies . Always delicious

Radisson is the one of the oldest branded Hotel in Jalandhar since 20 years and still very well maintained. The staff of the Hotel are very old which shows the good loyalty of management and staff. The staff are very well educated and friendly.

This hotel is a good old school 5 star hotel, with opulent decor and very comfortable beds. Although the decor in the rooms is showing its age a bit, it was still lovely. Had a delicious dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Service a round was also first class. I really enjoyed this hotel very much.

It is a nice and clean hotel, with friendly staff. Many choices for food. Next to the hotel is a mall.

“NOT convenient to to historic area Hotel staff know NOTHING about the area Was mislead by Hampton hotels regarding the location of this hotel. Room was noisy, music coming at odd times of the night. Otherwise as one would expect for room cleanliness and breakfast was fine.”
