Absolutely heavenly quiet place with birds singing, the smell of petunias, the freshness of the sea air! Attentive, polite staff with immediate response to the client's request. A variety of delicious food, and I would like to separately note the local sweets! Thank you for the rest! I definitely recommend changing civilization for a while to Danat

What a perfect relaxing oasis with everything we needed to unwind relax and be pampered. The hotel and rooms are sumptuous and spotless, the beach is beautiful, the pool and gardens meticulously well kept. The choice of food and the standard were amazing but most importantly the staff were just so friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. All the staff were amazing and in particular the very special Juliet, Lakshani, Freda, Shangeesga, Niche, Yoon, Su, James, Sandeep, Sharifaa and of course the great barmen at Waves including Lehan. There was also the receptionist who was wonderfully helpful when our flight was cancelled and helped to arrange an alternative and the people who cleaned our room each day. Thank you we really appreciated all you did for us and we really loved our holiday xxx

We visited Tides Restaurant multiple times, and each visit has been nothing short of outstanding!!! From the moment we made our reservation with the wonderful Tamer to the warm welcome from the waiters and the attentive care from the manager, the entire team consistently delivered excellence . Chef Teesen has elevated the restaurant to an entirely new level. The buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, each one bursting with flavour and prepared to perfection. The presentation is impeccable, and the cleanliness and organization of the buffet are truly commendable. However, the real star of our experience has been Chef Vishal. His culinary expertise, warm hospitality, and genuine passion for his craft shine through in every dish. Not only are Chef Vishal and Chef Teesen incredibly skilled, but they also go above and beyond to engage with guests, ensuring that every meal is a memorable one. Their smiles, attentiveness, and dedication make dining at Tides feel like a special occasion every time. We can not recommend Tides Restaurant enough—it is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional food, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you to Chef Vishal , Chef Teesen, and the entire team for making each visit so special. We will definitely be returning!

I’ve never written a review before as I’ve never particularly felt so cared for by a resort. I visited the Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort for two weeks along with my mum, brother, sister and my step dad. My mum and step dad came here 16 weeks before we did and my mum always brought us up to never visit the same place twice because of how big the world is. But when she came here 16 weeks prior for her honeymoon she said the only thing missing was her kids. So, in order to make it perfect she set up another chance to come here with me and my siblings coming with and I must say it was absolutely phenomenal. There was nothing negative about this resort. The staff really bring it higher. Wathsara (whatsapp), Sharifah, Juliet, Vishal, Freda, Nisha, Retheesh, Kwee and I won’t keep going because the list will go on forever. But they were all just amazing and brought a lovely feel to the atmosphere. Every corner I turned I was giving a smiling and receiving one bigger. I came on this holiday with a family of 5 but left with a family of infinity. I am hopefully coming back in August to see my family again! It was a perfect holiday.

When I come to Danat I ask for chicken chakalaka cooked by Cherifa. This is mahchalah dish mainly vegetable and chicken but with some magic. Thanks for making me discover and please prepare this dish again this Friday Cherifa. Thank you also for sharing your culture.

This has truly been one of the most memorable culinary experiences I’ve had at a hotel. The food was absolutely incredible – fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly seasoned every single time. There was no need to add even a pinch of salt or pepper – everything was just perfect as it was. Every day brought something new and delicious, with so many options to choose from, including a variety of mouth-watering desserts that were impossible to resist! What made the experience even more special were the people behind the food – the wonderful kitchen team. A big thank you to Freda, Sharifah, Sageesha and Teesen Veeren, who are not just talented professionals, but also kind, warm, and passionate about what they do. You could feel the care in every dish they prepared. Whatsara at the bar also deserves a big mention – always smiling, extremely attentive, and so committed to his work. He made every interaction a pleasure. And although I sadly don’t remember his name, the young man serving on the terrace was just as amazing – helpful, thoughtful, and always making sure we had everything we needed. On top of that, the rooms were spotless – incredibly clean, fresh, and comfortable. It’s clear that great attention is given to every detail, in every corner of the hotel. Everything was done with heart – and you can taste and feel the difference. I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates not just great food, but also great people and true hospitality

We can enjoy with nature in this resort. We can swallow fresh air in surroundings. It is very good for stay with family and couples. I feel very good about all amenities. And I fixed for this place to go next visit with My family and friends. Nice place to stay.
