The nicest bed and breakfast ever! Beautiful, comfy rooms. Fabulous breakfasts and the most lovely hosts. Rob and Amanda made us so welcome, and we feel like we have made new friends. Will definitely go back and stay longer. Thank you! Kate & Ian Dove

Amanda & Rob are the perfect hosts. The Callant’s Festival was on at the time of our visit & we were invited to join them & their friends as they welcomed the Pipe Band for refreshments in the garden & treated to several tunes. Not something that happens every day! Our rooms were clean & spacious & the cooked breakfast perfect. The Meadhon is well situated to explore Jedburgh on foot & to visit the environs by car. A lovely time was had - thank you!

Amanda & Rob give a very warm welcome and ensure your stay is a comfortable one. The rooms are very nicely appointed and always spotlessly clean with a nice selection of teas and Coffee in the room. Breakfast requirements are ordered the night before to ensure it is ready for the time you need it whether a full English / Scottish or a selection of fruits, yoghurt & cereal - with toast of course. This is my first choice place to stay when working in the area but is also popular with visitors to this beautiful area. Whatever it's for you will be made welcome and you will have a comfortable stay.

Excellent experience the couple who run the b&b are so loverly. The breakfast was spot on even the poached egg. Lovely room would highly recommend this place. The room we was in had a view of the top of the jedburgh Abbey which unfortunately we were unable to visit due to work being done.

Very comfortable room, everything in good order. Easy access throughout the day, very nice breakfast and welcoming and friendly hosts. A great location with free on street parking. From Meadhon B&B we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see in the town and then drive on for other border attractions. A great place to stay.

My wife and I stayed in Meadhon Guest House for the weekend, and all I can say is that it was amazing. Amanda & Rob were very welcoming, they made us feel right at home. We could tell that they were extremely passionate about us and the other guests, asking lots of questions and getting to know us. The room was amazing, lots of space with an extremely comfy bed. The breakfast was cooked to order and again it was amazing. We will definitely be going back to stay at Meadhon Guest House. Amanda & Rob; thank you for my making our stay both enjoyable & memorable. P.S. Don't forget to go see the Highland Cows at Jackson's

We stayed here for 2 nights and can’t praise this experience enough. First off free on street parking right outside the door and then a lovely genuine welcome from Amanda &Rob. The room was spotless and really nicely decorated with a fabulous view over the gardens and hills beyond. The bed was huge and super comfy and the pillows were lovely. Nice touches like an ironing board and fan in the room if needed. Breakfast was brilliant , so fresh and tasty. If you need gluten free food then that is no problem and again a nice touch that gluten free cereal brought out and then put away so no cross contamination. It was a 2 minute walk into the city centre and the honesty snack box was much needed on the way back from the pub. Owners were lovely and were genuinely interested where we had been and what we had been up to that day. They found out it was my wife’s birthday when we were there and when we came back that night there was a box of chocolates and card on the bed. Overall a fantastic B & B and would thoroughly recommended staying here. We will be back !!

Rob and Amanda are so welcoming we could have talked with them for hours . The room we had was number 4 an extra large very comfortable bed we had a lovely view and the room had everything you could possibly need and was spotlessly clean . The breakfast was delicious and plentiful we couldn’t have asked for a better B&B.

What an absolutely fantastic stay! The B&B is spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated and sooo comfortable through out. Everything we needed was there, the super king bed was very very comfortable. They even have an honesty box with water, crisps and chocolate for any midnight munchies. Breakfast is a pre-order which worked perfectly for us. It was beautifully cooked, perfectly presented - all local produce. Cannot emphasis how wonderful our hosts were. They were there with a warm friendly greeting. They clearly love what they do, take time to chat, have a bit of a joke and just make you feel really comfortable. The view from the bathroom (Room 1) was stunning. Picture attached. I will be back with my husband in the future. Thanks Amanda & Rob! Xxx
