The house is oriented toward the southern light in a partly forested partly grassy watershed whose many natural springs feed two ponds. The wrap around deck makes the space flow seamlessly indoors and outdoors to enjoy views in every direction.Guest accessYou will have access to the entire house except for the basement and a few closets.Other things to notePlease note that washer/dryer is not available for shorter stays so pack accordingly. Also, be aware that this is a rural setting so expect animals such as deer, foxes, wild turkeys, skunks, porcupines, coyotes, frogs, and even the occasional bear on the property and also, you are likely to hear gunshots as hunting is popular in the area. While the house is well insulated and all windows and doors screened, be aware that insects such as moths may find their way inside. This house is perfect for travelers of all types!The home sleeps 8 - a king master suit on the main level, and a queen and double room on the lower level. All beds are memory foam; both firm and push to ensure you have the best sleep while on vacation. We provide down comforters, crisp white duvet covers and linens and comfortable pillows. All towels for bathing and spa/outdoor use are provided. We have 2.5 bathrooms - the master suite has an ensuite with shower. The upper level also has a powder room off the kitchen and the downstairs bathroom contains a shower and bathtub.To make your stay as perfect as it can be, we have stocked the kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Kitchen appliances include a gas range for cooking, stainless steel oven and warmer, and fridge/freezer combo with ice and water maker, and dishwasher. The home features two living spaces - on the upper level sit and enjoy conversation and music with our living room off the dining room.
