Upper Hotel Suites

We stayed as a group of 3 and had a great experience. The room had a minimalist design and everything looked brand new. It was very spacious and had a good view, with individual desks provided for each of us, which was a nice touch. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The facilities were also excellent, especially the swimming pool and the free parking. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this place again whenever we visit Penang in the future. Highly recommended!

It is a good hotel, check in at level 9. Friendly staff, good facilities and you can drink tea in the morning or drink beer at night. They have a great co-working space for customers too. You can go for massage at level 10. It is convenient and a good budget hotel in Penang👍👍

Simple and nice stay. Toilet can provide hooks for towels and shirt to hang and floor mat would be better.

It's very unique, like hostel, with 4 super single beds and wardrobes provided. Check-in at floor 9, and the room is located at floor 22 and above. Use Waze/Google to search for Sho Hotel Penang instead of upper suites hotel. Definitely worth the price. Pros: -Spacious - 4 individual beds, wardrobes, study table and chairs. -Toilet and bathroom within the room -Window views -Hairdryer provided -Able to access swimming pool and gym -Free parking -New facilities -Air-conditioned -A lot of plugs (each bed is equipped with 3 plugs) Cons: -The sink is too small -Without TV -Dusty floor -All-in-one room lamp switch (one switch to on off for all lamps, except toilet) -Without floor mat outside the bathroom, but can request with the reception.

I stayed in a simple quad room during my CNY trip to Penang. The location was convenient, especially after crossing the Penang Bridge. The room was clean and basic, with no TV provided. It has a typical hostel-style setup, but it’s definitely worth the money. My family enjoyed our stay. The check-in lobby is on Level 9 under Sho Hotel, and the 24-hour counter made everything easy and convenient.
