Hotel Picon de Sierra Nevada

Unpleasant experience is an understatement of what I have been going through. The worst I have had for years! Long story short, the service was awful, in terms of reliability and integrity (and it was very surprising - given that the comments in Booking and Google were very positive). This place probably works much better during the high season, but after that (i.e., nowadays) everything seems completely different. When we arrived to the hotel, the worker who works there came to the reception in a few minutes late, she was quite rude, in a hurry, and she only gave us a feeling that she wants us to pay for the night and then leave. She told us we are not alone in the hotel, but we were the only guests there that night. Needless to mention that she has not bothered to open the dining room and prepare the breakfast, even though we payed for it! (she mentioned she will appear at 8:30am, but nobody was there until 9:30; so we decided to put the keys on the reception desk and leave). The rooms, by the way, were quite OK, although the AC and one light bulb did not work. How surprising... Since the location is a bit remoted (which is OK, because it was not too far from the Sierra Neveda national park) and we came to do the check-in at the early evening hours, it's was not that easy to decide leaving the place and looking for alternative. Very bad and *not recommended*

Hôtel bien situé, très calme. Vue panoramique sur les montagnes environnantes. Accueil chaleureux et personnalisé, propriétaire très sympa. Bons repas au restaurant, j’ai testé plusieurs burgers, tous excellents. Et une literie vraiment très confortable, un des grands atouts de cet établissement !

Las persaonas que lo regentan son ecantadoras, muy flexibles con los huéspedes y es un lugar agradabilísimo para descansar y olvidarse del mundanal ruido. El desayuno estupendo y francamente creo que funciona de maravilla todo. EL menú que tienen es de temporada y por lo que ví, la gente comió estupendamente.
