I wish I could have good things to say about this hotel because the location is good and Alvaro was helpful giving tips upon our arrival. But that’s all. This is not a palace but a rundown old house with a steep wooden stair to get to the rooms ( no elevator ). No front desk. Nobody around if you need something. No breakfast. Small , uncomfortable rooms. Over-priced. Not worth it.

A beautiful place to stay. We absolutely loved the experience. The guided tour of the house is a must as the owner fills the visit with quirky anecdotes about its history. Not to be missed! Shame it was rainy while we were there as we would have loved to have tried the pool. Next time!

An interesting visit with some great history but sad to see it’s decline. This place has lots of history and the tale told by the owner/guide was great to hear BUT, it was also sad to see it’s decline. I think the property was, in its day, very elegant and sophisticated but I could see during the tour that the property was in dire need of some urgent care & attention. Lots of areas need general maintenance and restoration work and most of the property could look better after a good clean and dusting. We enjoyed the tour but it felt like these are the last days of this once prestigious property. Visit whilst you can.

Beautiful experience ! what a fantastic place, unique atmosphere ! One night in a beautiful Museum ! Every details is important they do the best not to make you feeling in an hotel but at home. The art of good taste and authenticity. From the moment the door is opening to the moment you are closing your door everything is an experience and makes you feel as a personal guest. I have really enjoyed the visit of the museum, reading a book next to the pool or taking an espresso in my room watching the garden and the huge avocado tree.... staying in this hotel is a privilege

This is an historic house in the center of town, closeby many nice restaurants and interesting places to visit. It has a lovely pool that becomes very useful when it is hot, and the rooms have good AC. Beds are of good quality, the bathrooms are good and it is all very clean and well taken care-of by the owners.

An interesting place to stay. A historical building with old, historical furniture! No fridge and no TV - but I didn't miss them. Wi-Fi was very good! The location of the hotel is in the center, perfect to visit sights of Jerez as well the wineries with wine tasting and tapas. I had a quiete room and bathroom in an acceptable size. Bed was comfortable. In this hotel there is no breakfast offered but I had a coffee machine, muffins, biscuits, salt nuts and a jug of cold water (drinking water). There are plenty of restaurants and cafés all around where you can have a good breakfast and meal. You can walk almost everywhere. The hotel has a garden with a swimming pool and before you go in the garden there is a basket in the corner with extra towels for those who go swimming. The Museum-Hotel has always been family owned and is still run by the 9th Conte and his brother the Marquis. They also take turns giving guided tours of the museum. If you have time and are interested, you should definitely take a guided tour.
