Cicada Luxury Camping

The Cicada Luxury Camping accommodation is a must to visit! We stayed 3 nights in the Green Grocer tent. The views and atmosphere are incredible, the tent is comfortable, the amenities are very close by and fully stocked with everything you need. The chickens so cute and super friendly too! Nick and his team are very kind and approachable, and don’t forget to book in a massage while you’re there too cause it was amazing! Good vibes all round. We will be back!

The views were amazing, the tent was gorgeous and it was a perfect overall relaxing vibe! We also loved the friendly chickens, cows and kangaroos who paid a visit to our tent! The sunset/ sunrises were beautiful and we could sit for hours listening to music watching the day go by.

Relaxing spot with scenic rolling hill views. The tents are well furnished with chickens roaming freely. The chickens are friendly and eat from your hand and guests can help themselves to freshly laid eggs for breakfast. Enjoy a bath on the balcony and watch the sun set over the rolling green hills.

Wow, honestly Cicada exceeded all expectations. I booked this trip for my boyfriend’s birthday, I knew I needed to find something special and remote because he hates being around swarms of people and honestly, this couldn’t have been more perfect! From our warm greeting by Nick, to the freshly laid eggs for breakfast, to the electric blankets on the bed (yep we’re 30 going on 60), to the eco friendly toiletries, to the selection of teas, the blankets, all of the wood for the fire, even a courtesy text to let us know the bladdy kangaroos were in the field mate.. the list goes on, but honestly no stone was left unturned. The weather was utterly shocking during our stay, it rained for 24 hours solid, but the decking on the safari tent was covered meaning we could we could still enjoy the local wagyu we picked up from the farmers market. I’m not sure we would’ve kept as much sanity had we been in the bell tent in that rain though! The safari tent is definitely worth booking, having the ease of your own bathroom, shower and outside bath adds so much more luxury. The location is amazing too, completely up in the mountains but less than 10 mins drive to the beach and a town with shops and cafes, and gorgeous walks and places to swim, so plenty to do! Thank you so much Nick, we will be back!

My husband and I had an amazing weekend staying at Cicada. The surroundings were so peaceful and the view was picturesque. We stayed in the Golden Emperor tent. It was beautifully presented and well equipped with everything you need for a weekend of relaxing, and luxury style camping. It felt like we had our own little piece of heaven, you would not be able to tell that it's only minutes away from Kiama. Highly recommended for couples who want to a romantic time away from the daily grind and enjoy the outdoors, without the effort of packing camping gear. We were greeted by Nick, who was a friendly and very welcoming host. 10/10

Relaxing glamping experience close to town but you feel a million miles away. Good facilities comfy beds and superb fire pit. Nick has made us feel welcome and the opportunity to collect fresh eggs for breakfast is a bonus! Would highly recommend!
