Cicada Luxury Camping

Staying at Cicada Luxury Camping tent was an amazing experience. The tent itself was very comfortable, big, and has everything you need. So peaceful and relaxing, we love the Fire pit, you just sit down with a glass of wine and make your dinner while enjoying the atmosphere

The Black Prince tent we stayed in was very well equipped and extremely comfortable. We stayed two nights to attend a wedding and recovery event nearby, but may well come back to spend more time just at Cicada to totally relax and enjoy the facilities, comforts and scenery on offer. P.S. Very friendly chooks!

The views were amazing, the tent was gorgeous and it was a perfect overall relaxing vibe! We also loved the friendly chickens, cows and kangaroos who paid a visit to our tent! The sunset/ sunrises were beautiful and we could sit for hours listening to music watching the day go by.

This get away trip was fantastic, we were blown away by how peaceful and amazing the views were, the tents were set up to perfection. Got the best massage of my life in the Golden emporer tent which was so relaxing. Highly recommend and will be back in no time

Wow, honestly Cicada exceeded all expectations. I booked this trip for my boyfriend’s birthday, I knew I needed to find something special and remote because he hates being around swarms of people and honestly, this couldn’t have been more perfect! From our warm greeting by Nick, to the freshly laid eggs for breakfast, to the electric blankets on the bed (yep we’re 30 going on 60), to the eco friendly toiletries, to the selection of teas, the blankets, all of the wood for the fire, even a courtesy text to let us know the bladdy kangaroos were in the field mate.. the list goes on, but honestly no stone was left unturned. The weather was utterly shocking during our stay, it rained for 24 hours solid, but the decking on the safari tent was covered meaning we could we could still enjoy the local wagyu we picked up from the farmers market. I’m not sure we would’ve kept as much sanity had we been in the bell tent in that rain though! The safari tent is definitely worth booking, having the ease of your own bathroom, shower and outside bath adds so much more luxury. The location is amazing too, completely up in the mountains but less than 10 mins drive to the beach and a town with shops and cafes, and gorgeous walks and places to swim, so plenty to do! Thank you so much Nick, we will be back!

We had a glorious stay at Cicada. We booked last minute and stayed in one of the bell tents which was lovely, we will book earlier next time so we can enjoy the safari tents! Watching the sunset and sitting by the fire was our favourite. So remote and peaceful but also very accessible from kiama and Ubers are available which is great if you want to go on some wine tours
