We were supposed to pass 2 nights but our flight was cancelled by the company. Changing our whole trip was not an easy thing to do but fortunately we had comprehensive people making all new bookings okay. After explaining the situation, we received a nice email telling us than NO CHARGE will be taken for the night cancelled (as we could not stay 2 nights anymore and had to plan only 1 night in Plitvice) At our arrival, a nice welcoming with restaurant menu was given to us and as we thought they made an effort on our new booking, we decided to have diner (over 40€) and took a Sauna session (20€) ! Let say than breakfast is just correct but no local products as we saw honey farms all the way.,. Room is okay but near the road. When leaving, we had the note (around 180€!). From that moment, people changed from nice welcoming to totally dishonest ! We were told than we didn’t understand the “NO CHARGE” and that it was a mail from sister ! That we can have the 2 night charged to be used during the month (haha ! For sure we come every week in Plitvice from France !) No understanding at all and showing the emails exchanged, it was just a no excuses talk and no way discussion. If we knew that, we would for sure have had our diner in a real restaurant near by (as we were told that the food was made by a non professional cooker) , and would have taken a sauna in a real place for it with at least a glass of water offered… To finish, no credit card as CASH is the only paiement accepted in there…. I should have red the few other comments down here than just being attracted by the localisation.. Pass your way from this cash machine house hold, plenty of real nice other places all around ! Working in the hotel industry myself, let me tell the owner that client service is more important than qfter COVID opportunities to make more money…. I will definitely not recommend this place.
