Impression Shaxi Inn recensioner

Stayed here for 2 nights in Dec 2024. Absolutely blissful stay for the following reasons : - There's a rooftop terrace that is perfect for sunrise. The unblocked view stretches across the neighbouring villages. Great for breakfast spot! - Strategically located within the ancient town (3 mins walk from centre) and yet located on the outer layer of the town which is away from the hustle and bustle of day time tourists. - Heated bed pads which gave me such satisfying sleep for the 2 nights. Dec can be quite cold. - Always nice to have breakfast available at the homestay. Even though it's a simple one, it gave me more reason to spend additional time on the terrace each morning. - Had issue with my luggage lock upon arrival. The staff, Yan Mei was very kind, who walked with me to an uncle nearby the homestay to get help to open my luggage. - The owner of the homestay is usually around at night. Before midnight, he even sent me a reminder about using the back door if I stayed out late at night. Appreciate such attention to detail.

The room itself was nice with a well functioning air conditioner (heating in December) - it actually also had a small attached room with a Mahjong table. The bathroom is OK, but water easily gets on the floor, so you get wet feet when going to the toilet. The breakfast was very simple and served in the common area which was freezing cold in the morning. It is located at the end of town, so quite but easy to reach.

This hotel is a perfect place for people finding somewhere to escape from the hustle and bustle. I wished I had more time here

The courtyard, with its fishpond, blew our mind soon as we stepped in. It's a green paradise. There is also a observation deck where you could see the countryside for miles. The rooftop has a laundry machine and clotheslines. A welcome to long travellers. During our stay I got sick and the owner called a tricycle to take me to the health clinic. He paid for the ride would not allow me to reimburse him. When we left, he helped arrange a taxi to take us to the next town.We enjoyed Shaxi and the stay at this inn.

superb hotel. absolutely loved staying here. The only little thing that could be improved is breakfast..

Nice service, no mosquitos, very nice pond and greenery in the middle and nice views. Manager a really great guy.

Ambience of an ancient settings..very friendly and helpful inn keeper Mr Wong who went beyond his call of duties to help us, senior citizens... no hesitation in recommending this Inn for its convenient and quiet location, a stone throw away from tourist hotshots.

The hotel owner helped us to book the shared car to Lijiang. He always offers help if needed and replies our concern immediately. Amazing room with outstanding mountain view, good location, about 3 min to the ancient town, local food nearby. Highly recommend to book this hotel for your great trip

I loved that my driver could drive right up to the hotel as I really did not want to transport my things across the cobblestone of Old Town. The location was the hotel is great as you are only a couple minutes from many restaurants, shops, and sights. The grounds are beautiful with so many flowers. The front desk was helpful in suggestions and recommending activities. Having them on wechat was helpful. The breakfast is simple, but alright.

We had a very pleasant stay at this small, local-style hotel. The room was more according to the local design. Lovely courtyard. There is a billiard table there as well. No breakfast provided. The owner is very helpful and nice.

沙溪有風的地方，寧靜，特喜歡這家的花園，若在春意盎然的春天會更好看，娃娃喜歡花園裡麪的小金魚，動靜結合。房間內硬件一般，將就住，畢竟是老房子改造，隔音差，洗澡水温忽冷忽熱。屋頂花園曬太陽和夜晚看星星⭐很好。老闆用心早餐不錯，鮮牛奶🥛，元氣滿滿。整個沙溪的消費有些偏貴，住宿比起洱海還是貴些，旅拍498元2人，298元1人，但到了大理199元買一送一，麗江199元/人。

舊房子改造的民宿，特別有感覺！店裡的小花園佈置做得不要太棒了，很多多肉植物。院裏還有公用的泡茶區域，很貼心呢！ 民宿的天台很好看，如果風不大坐在上面休息看風景簡直不要再好了～ 距離戲台很近，不彎彎繞繞，很方便。早上要到玉津橋看晨霧也很靠近，住着挺舒服的。

和老闆居然是老鄉哈哈哈！早餐很好吃！娃喜歡在小池塘蹦來蹦去 娃很喜歡 古色古香 願我們都能活出自己滿意的樣子 借別的住客的原話：老闆衹是長得比較兇而已哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈
