A very beautiful courtyard hotel in the middle of Shaxi (an also very beautiful town). The rooms are very elegant and big, the beds have heating and the outside is also very beautiful. They also have a very simple but nice breakfast

Felt like travelled back in time staying in this beautiful courtyard. Located just outside the old town where car is still accessible which is convenient for loading/unloading of luggage. Short walk to the old town. There is heated mat on each bed during our winter stay in Dec. Western and Chinese breakfast are available.

It’s a nice house of big family here. Great location which is right outside of the old town. Big vehicle can be accessed. Cozy and lovely stay here.

We love the experience staying in this old hotel. Impressed with the hotel structure and it's finishing that can last for so many years. Breakfast was simple western style which we liked.

This hotel is very beautiful. We are a group of 4 friends and we're very enjoy our family room . The location is very good to explore the Lijiang Old town. We will definitely come back here again.

Excellent location and service. You can walk everywhere. Hotel is an old traditional house that is well-kept yet has modern facilities. I enjoyed my stay.

A very nice ancient homestay Great location. Just a minute walk to the Shaxi Ancient City and you can park the car in front of the hotel and unload your luggages. Room is clean and spacious , heated bed , heater Aircon. Good breakfast. The bathroom is cold because the heated light is not functioning.

The staff were part of the minority tribe group, and they were very helpful and friendly. The entire place and room were decorated according to traditional style and pattern. There was heating and heating mats provided on the beds.

The hotel is really quaint and gives us a feeling of going back to the past. The owner also gave us a choice of western or chinese breakfast with considerations on our likes and dislikes.

Shaxi is a gem of Yunnan, a must visit in yunnan, and this hotel is ideal for exploring it as it sits right in it. The host family is very humble and nice people. The place is very beautiful, clean. The continental breakfast made by host lady was the best we had, even better than high end hotel we stayed before. They organized our transport on check out too. We will definitely return to this place again. Highly recommend.

The location of this hotel is literally on the doorstep of the pedestrian zone yet it is still accessible by car. The public car park is also right next door to the hotel. The hotel is decorated in traditional style and is very quiet at night. I liked that the hotel provided electric blankets for the cold nights. The breakfast is delicious and enough to keep you going for most of the day. Helpful staff and a relaxing place to enjoy Shaxi.

This is not a sleek, anonymous and flashy place. It has the unobtrusive and personal style of Shaxi. The location is perfect. 150 m from the entrance of the old town. The staff is very helpful. They kept in contact with me, when I was on a long lonely hike. Charming. They cater mainly to French tourists. So I had to ask for my noodle soup for breakfast instead of toast. But that was no problem whatsoever.
