Haile Resort Jimma

I have been a loyal guest of Haile Resorts for many years and have stayed at several of their branches across Ethiopia. Unfortunately, my recent stay at the Jimma branch was the least impressive compared to the others. The breakfast buffet, health center, and overall experience did not meet the standard I’ve come to expect from Haile Resorts. In addition, there was noticeable noise late in the evenings, which affected the quality of rest. The staff were polite, but not as warm and attentive as I have experienced in other branches. While the stay was still decent, it lacked the charm and service quality that usually make Haile Resorts stand out. Overall, I would rate my stay 9/10. I hope management works on improving the quality of service and facilities at this branch to bring it up to the level of the other excellent Haile Resorts.

I and my family stayed for 4 nights in the family room. As a relatively new branch , the hotel provides most of the standard hospitality and quality services. However, there are areas that still require immediate attention such as the fences at the balcony especially for the family rooms that are short and risky for small children to fallen or or jams off. Another observation which I witness in one day during my stay was the water linkage near to the room we stayed- the water splattered along the corridor in the morning time. The same thing happened later in the evening in the GYM area . The AC in the toilet was not working like the Sauna - in general it looks like the facilities need proper maintenance. While most of the staff member demonstrated Haile’s hospitality, there are still few who needs training and capacity building- few are not trained and even show unnecessary attitudes and arguments and sense of disrespect for the guests The manager in the restaurant should be moving around to check on guests instead of their staff or greet people which they know. I am giving all of these my personal experiences since I and my family love Haile hotel and resorts and expected the same standards
