I found what looked like an engorged tick or bedbug crawling up my bed. The hotel is pretty and I booked it for 1 night as a luxury treat so I could get a good rest for my layover stop to another destination. My room smelt like stale smoke unfortunately, though I had asked for non-smoking. I paid extra on my booking for breakfast and had to wake up at 6am, eat breakfast at 6.30am and go to the airport at 7.20am. My room had a bathtub so I took a bath before bedtime and went to bed at midnight, I got up to go switch the lamp off at 1am and found this bug crawling up the side of my bed going towards me. I think it's either a tick or a bed bug, the body was full of blood. It had 6 or 8 legs, difficult to see but I took a video which doesn't allow me to upload. I don't have any problems with normal bugs such as spiders, but if it is a tick or bedbug it is a big problem. I was really worried there were more hiding inside the bed, I called reception for help and they looked at the bug which I caught in a glass cup. They apologised deeply and changed my room, so I had to move at 1.30am. I explained I was already tired and have to wake up early. In the new room I was unable to sleep as I kept worrying about bed bugs. I got up multiple times to check my bed. And there was a noisy couple next door talking loudly until very late so I couldn't sleep. For a luxury hotel you should not need to loose a whole night's sleep because you are worried about bedbugs or ticks biting you. Nor should be able to hear noise from other guests through the wall. I was extremely exhausted the next day and did not have any appetite. I asked if they could refund the extra I paid for breakfast because I couldn't eat it, but they said it wasn't possible. So I forced myself to try eat 1 egg and some small rice porridge but couldn't finish it. Really expensive to pay for breakfast and hardly eat, it's a shame they couldn't refund the breakfast considering I had no sleep. For a 5* hotel, I would like to have good rest and peaceful sleep. But it was not like that. The staff were very kind and helpful, but it's not so easy to travel here alone. It was not easy to book a taxi for the following morning to the airport and it took 40 minutes of assistance, the man was very kind and helpful, but the hotel should make an easier system for foreign guests to book taxi. When I first arrived in Jinan airport, I had no idea how to get to the hotel. There is no ATM inside the hotel so you cannot withdraw cash, and you cannot pay with foreign card to book a taxi. The shangri-la website did not provide any details for public transport. It simply said bus transfer was available but did not say which number bus. I would give the details here but I have forgotten the route name and bus number now as it was hectic and I was very tired, sorry. I had to waste a lot of time trying to ask for help at the airport as the staff did not speak English. Luckily someone helped me. The bus will cost 20yuan and take you into the centre where you will see the intercontinental hotel and a large shopping mall on the left side of the bus, get off at that stop, it takes 1 hour. From there it's only 5 minutes walk to shangri-la. For a big hotel they should provide easy instructions on the website to guests. The staff apologised deeply for the bug on the bed, and offered 10% reduction of the room rate. Although when I checked out no refund was given and they didn't mention anything about it, I think they just charged full price. Personally I think 10% is not enough anyway. Nobody wants to change rooms at 1.30am because of bugs crawling on the bed. I didn't get any sleep at all and felt itchy because I kept thinking about bugs and couldn't eat the breakfast. I was absolutely exhausted the following day so I was unable to do anything at my next destination and had to waste 1 day more to rest. Unfortunately not an easy experience at the shangri-la.

The hotel is clean and is walking distance to tourist hotspot Baotuquan. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice CNY deco. Had a great stay.

This is one of the best experience I have with Shangri-la especially the service from the front desk is impeccable! Kudos to Erin王婷!! She’s the best!! She made our trip extra special! Birthday cake was prepared for our birthday celebration, even decorated the room with flower and lights! When we request for housekeeping or anything, it gets done immediately which is pretty impressive! Once again, thank you Erin for giving us over and above service during our stay!

Remarkable journey! Thank for the service from Shangri-la which makes me so comfortable and convenient during the trip. Especially when we first got here, Elena(whose Chinese name is Wang Na) helped a lot. I really appreciate all the help and service that she gave. The best time I have ever experienced! Beautiful scenery, lovely people, I shall come back again someday, hope to meet Elena, Shangri-la and Jinan again. ^_^

服務一級棒,無可挑剔,從入住到退房離開,每個環節都那麼完美,實屬難得,彰顯了高端國際級酒店的風範。我們到達濟南的當天恰逢37度高温天氣,但是酒店的工作人員並沒有因此而懈怠。我們還未到達酒店的時候,客服就來電告知房間已經提前預留,並告知房間所在樓層。我們乘坐的出租車到達酒店門口時,禮賓迅速迎上來打開車門,並把行李箱搬下車引領我們前往前台辦理入住手續。前台美女全程微笑服務,主動告知相關事宜。酒店的餐食,早餐和晚餐品種多樣,口味也不錯。我們出行前台主動幫助聯繫出租車。到了退房的時候,也是主動幫我們搬運行李,並送上車。讓我們感受到了好客山東的魅力。以後還會再來。

作為濟南人,之前是推薦給朋友住香格里拉,沒想到這次自己也住了一次。 因為家人在齊魯醫院住院,醫院停車太難了,索性住在香格里拉,早中晚隨時都可以步行10分鐘到達醫院! 在酒店休息的很愜意,緩解了家人住院帶來的焦慮。大堂吧位置也很不錯,可以看到泉標!賓客關係部小朱Mindy細心回訪了一下,整體都挺滿意的。

位置在濟南中心C位 前面就是中心廣場,對面是恆隆中心和洲際,行政酒廊服務周到,服務人員態度熱情,晚上的happy hour.出品不算多但是足够,酒也够了,香格里拉一貫風格,自助早餐不是特別精美,但是也够了 最重要的是去大明湖趵突泉都盡在眼前,太方便🤩,必須推薦

在洲際和香格里拉之間,選擇了香格里拉。這也是第一次住,但是已被圈粉。先説設施真的保養的很好很新。大堂和行政酒廊看着很豪華舉架特別高。游泳池的更衣室很大,有個很大的泡池和桑拿房,吹風機是戴森的,很像個洗浴中心。再説衞生,簡直是沒有死角,可以説我去過五星裏衞生打掃的最好的。最後説服務,也是我最滿意的,不管是前台,餐廳,還是健身房,每一個員工都很熱情,服務都很細微。我媽媽喜歡甜粽,但是早餐沒有,結果人家馬上就現做了一個。最後説一下前台,劉佳暉,解決和回答任何我微信的問題。還有很多真的説不完,下次一定會再次選擇香格里拉!

亞洲區住過的的第四家香格里拉,果然香格里拉標準都是統一的,從不讓你失望。剛入住時有點小插曲,張經理馬上帶人來送酒送飲料表達安撫,離店時特地安排專車送站。相比傲慢的某豪某洲某菲,香格里拉這個牌子更讓你覺得賓至如歸!
