A very scenic and peaceful location, you can enjoy the lake area right at the hotel's doorstep. The only thing is the only way to reach the hotel is by foot and the nearest the car can drop off is by the road side of the lake. However the hotel provides a vehicle service to fetch you and your luggage to and fro to the location you need to be so you don't have to travel by foot with your luggage. Hotel staff is exceptionally hospitable and friendly, they sincerely welcome you and help you with any requests or questions. They're so cheerful as well We even received some souvenirs at the end of your stay which was very nice of them, and was provided with free breakfast daily. Breakfast food was good too with a cosy but adequately filling selection. Some items change on different days too. Overall, apart from the hotel being a little old and the toilet interior design being a little odd, it was a very comfortable stay!

Need to arrange for hotel pick up from the parking as it was not accessible by car/taxi. It was actually within walking distance but since we had luggage and did not know where to head. The hotel Itself was in the Daming Lake area making it very convenient to enjoy the park and Chaoran Pavilion. Breakfast was very basic and was a 5 min shuttle bus away. Staff friendly and beautiful room.

Staff here are friendly and very helpful. They provide a map for moving around and brief you so you know where to go first. This little hotel looks deceptively drab outside but it is clean and has the required amenities on the inside. The toilet and shower are clean and well laid out, with a good supply of toiletries. The location is excellent - right at the Daming lake area and easy to get anywhere in the tourist route. They send a shuttle to pick you up from the main carpark area to the hotel as main traffic are not allowed in the park area. It is away from the main traffic area where the larger hotels are so you get to enjoy the peaceful surroundings yet are near all the important sights. Breakfast is simple and filling.

This hotel was amazing! The staff especially were wonderful! We had a language barrier (staff spoke no English), but were more than happy to communicate using translator apps. They were so so so nice!!!! Especially cause one of us had a birthday whilst there. The location was fantastic- on one of the islands on Daming Lake Scenic Area, and the hotel’s complementary motorised transport from the nearest public road to the hotel wasn’t all that necessary as it was only a 5 min walk from hotel to public road. Though it was welcome! The first photo was taken from our room. The view was amazing! Chaoran Tower was about a 200m walk from the hotel. Everything else in the photos was within 700m of our hotel. This was my first visit to Jinan and I loved it. I will definitely stay here again.

Best hotel in Jinan with good location. Hotel located inside the Jinan iconic Daming lake but convenient to walking to Daminghu, Qushuiting and chaoranlou. Good service and worth for the price. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel, very good service

The hotel is clean, quiet and service is very good! Good location for nature lovers as you're staying right next to the Lake itself. In the morning you get a view of the rising sun and lake. They provide you with Spring Water and Tea Bags with Tea Set to make tea too:)

Located inside DaMingHu, a very beautiful oark with some street performances at night. Walking distance to many attractions, and taxi is in abundance. Hotel staff services is excellent.

The large widow overlooking the water was the perfect location for some tea. The hotel is located in the most beautiful gardens with water views. Loved our stay here. Will definitely be back.

The hotel was situated in the middle of a lovely lake park, everything was beautiful!! The staff were very friendly and always willing to help us despite the language barrier. The breakfast was also quite delicious. Would recommend!

It was awesome. The location is close to everything

The hotel is located right inside the famous Da Ming Hu. You need to wait for the hotel to pick you up from the carpark and the hotel will send a caddy to pick you up. It’s also easy to just walk out to the Main Street which is only 5 minutes walk and you will be in city centre with food and show around. The view of hotel room is amazing if you book a Lakeview room. It was my 9 year old daughter’s favorite because every morning she wakes up and can see how the huge birds catch fish from the lake. It’s like you are in a zoo. The room is reasonably clean but a little bit worn out and a little bit small for the standard room. So the hotel videos are a bit of an exaggeration. But overall we love the location and view of the room and we would highly recommend for first time visitors to book a hotel with a view of the beautiful lake.

Perfect location and nice view from room. Staffs r helpful and nice. They offered free breakfast for our 4 days stay. And gave us farewell gifts.
