Comfort Suites Johnson City Near University

The king suite was clean, comfortable and quiet. Check in was fast and efficient. The rates were better than comparable properties in our opinion. The complimentary breakfast was good. The staff was quiet and polite. The near by Bristol Raceway schedule definitely effects the rates in the area if the stay date is flexible

Check in was very pleasant, very friendly and informative of the area, I made a comment that I was working nights and I was put in a room that would be the quietest area in the hotel. It was very much appreciated. Breakfast was good whenever I was to get down there.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and highly recommend it! The front desk staff members were very friendly and helpful. They were easy to talk to and made us feel very welcome. The kitchen staff members who prepared the breakfast and maintained the dining area were very friendly and helpful. The food was good, they made sure it was hot, there was good variety, and there was always enough. They also did a good job in keeping the dining room clean and sanitized. On several occasions, we saw them wiping down the tables after people finished eating.

Excellent service. Great location. Comfortable and clean rooms. Hotel was clean, well lit and I felt safe as a solo traveler. The evening Desk Clerk, Hailey, was awesome! Super friendly, welcoming and knew the area. She was very helpful and so pleasant! I will definitely stay here again.

We’re part of a rewards with another higher end hotel chain. We were surprised how much better Comfort Inn had up their game. Less price and the room was better than some hotels we’ve stayed at through our rewards program. Beat place to stay when I am in tri cities.

Great stay as always!! Front desk lady in the morning was superb. Friendly and very helpful. She helped me with directions to some food places that were great! Beds were comfortable and housekeeping was great as well!! Recommend staying here for the reasonable price and customer service

First impression was good. The lobby is very nice, welcoming, and check-in was quick yet informative. As someone who travels often I generally make sure everything in the room is actually clean, which it was. No issues getting extra towels in the morning but breakfast wasn't great. My bagel was a bit stale, hot food looked dry so I passed on it. Otherwise for the price it's good place to stay.

Rocky is always great helping with early check in. Breakfast was great. Very clean hotel. Good customer service. perfect choice hotel in Johnson city. Highly recommended. I made this my home away from home when I am in Johnson city. It’s great location right next to Walmart.

My key had to be redone every day several times. The manager was very rude and condescending and definitely does not have the capacity to handle this job correctly. I overheard him telling the 3rd Shift worker that she was a liar, and he yelled at her in front of several guests, other than myself in the middle of the breakfast room. He accused her of leaving the bar empty when it in fact was not empty. Had he talk to me that way I would’ve punched him in his face. You could see if she wanted to hit him or cry, but she just quietly walked away. She disappeared into the office and came back out with her stuff and left. Even though she had tears in her eyes, she still managed to put a smile on her face until two guests to have a good day. She did not have a name tag on, so I don’t know her name. Hopefully she reports his verbal abuse to whomever. Later in the day I found out that guys name is Rocky and he is the manager. He doesn’t need to be in this industry, nor does he have the rights to talk to people the way he did that girl. The hotel over on was acceptable except for the gym/workout room. It was pathetic and stunk and one of the plugs did not work in my room. Also, my room smelled of heavy smoke whenever I first arrived. It is conveniently located and there is plenty of parking. But I will not be going back.
