I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations in several areas.
Firstly, the soundproofing in the room was very poor. I could clearly hear the TV from the next room late night, which made it difficult to sleep. It’s surprising for a hotel of this standard not to address basic noise insulation.
Another point of disappointment was the pillow options. Unlike the hotel next door, this one didn’t offer any hard or buckwheat pillows. When I requested a firmer pillow, housekeeping sent a memory foam pillow — but without a pillowcase. I had to request one separately and put it on myself, which felt like something the staff should have handled.
Next disappointing moment was with the concierge. During the first two nights, the staff simply asked for my car number and handled the carpark access efficiently. But later in the stay, when I provided my car plate, the response was just, “You scan QR code will do,” with no explanation or courtesy. It came off as rude, especially compared to the initial experience.
On the positive side, the front office, breakfast café, and car park staff were pleasant and helpful. They were professional and made those parts of the stay smoother.
Overall, there are areas for improvement, especially regarding service consistency, soundproofing, and pillow amenities. I hope the hotel takes this feedback constructively.
