friendly staffs right from front desk to cafe. very helpful especially when i request for late checkout

Amari JB is well located, being a short walk away after you clear immigration at Johor CIQ. Located behind a shopping mall and surrounded by food options, it's perfect for a quick getaway. Despite my late checkin, I received a free upgrade to a deluxe room (thank you Amari!), which was a great night's rest. Only complaint is the toilet which doesn't have a spare cubicle for showering, which is a weird design. Otherwise no issues.

This will be our 7th time staying over here in Amari, Johor Bahru Hotel as we simply missed the sumptuous great breakfast and facilities very much from our heart. We did a 3 Days 2 Nights. As per usual, our stay have been pleasant. For this time round, l have booked a Deluxe Room so that it is slightly more spacious than the Superior Room for more leg room movement and we lurved the ambience. Everything was okay except for the TV which was giving us some problem. One of the technician, Hafiz came to repair on the TV. At the same time he also assisted to replace the bedroom spotlight and ceiling light too. He was very professional. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay completely happily with no complaints. And we will definately be back for our short vacation once again. Thank you for having us once again. Till then.

Located near to popular City Square mall with many restaurants nearby. Tried the swimming pool and the breakfast was good as well

Is still nice hotel woth good service but the breakfast is not as good . The standard has drop. Taste is no longer the same. 2days breakfast without any changes as well same varieties. Amari besides service is also known for their good food but unfortunately not anymore. Location is perfect with all the restaurants n shopping nearby.

Near to customs komtar mall and city square. Food options wise a lot as well, HDL is just downstairs and grab food has many options as well. 

This is my second time here, Its still same, really good Strategic location, food is very good, Staff so nice Will come back again n again Never fail

The Hotel Room is big and clean Breakfast not worth the price. Carpark is not free, need to pay 10RM for multiple entry, so u might consider stay more than 1 night.

Spent 2 nights stay. Room cleanliness is satisfactory but got bad experience with the water heater particularly 1719. Nearly got burnt by the hot water as there was issue with the control, i.e. cold water was not fed to mix with the hot water. Eventually request for a room replacement.

Place is very convenient - within walking distance from CIQ/City Sq Mall. Room is clean and bed is firm, so we slept well during our 2 nights stay. Counter staff was efficient and really helpful.

This will be the 2nd time staying in Amari , breakfast was delicious and good selection . Room is big and generally cozy. Overall great experience.

The hotel is strategically located between Jalan Trus and Jalan Wong Ah Fook, prime location if you were to visit JBCC and City Square. It is also close to take the bus to Singapore. The hotel room is of decent size, filled with wooden furniture. Too much carpentry, furniture and these designs are outdated and non sustainable imho. Bathroom size is good with good Roca fittings, however, more detailed attentions could be given to the water pressure and floor trap flow speed. The tiles and bathroom furniture again is old design despite the hotel is relatively new (completed in 2017/2018). The bed is huge. The only good part is the complimentary executive lounge served with beer, food and beverages. The wine selection however is one of the worst in 5-star hotels, it would be better to do without the wine and put the money into better food/fruits. The hotel is hardware driven and I felt there are a lot more that can be done apartment cleaning the room and wash the toilet to make it a truly 5-star hotel. Based on my experience, it's at best a 4-star hotel at 5-star price.

The hotel has a great location – HDL is just downstairs and City Square is right across the road, making it very convenient. The room and bed were clean and comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. However, I was quite disappointed with the swimming pool. It was not well-maintained, with visible algae making the surface very slippery and unclean. We arrived at the hotel around 6pm, but only one of our rooms was ready. We ended up waiting until 9pm, and it was only after I made a phone call that we were informed the second room was ready – there was no prior update. Additionally, we requested extra towels which were never delivered.

Check-in and check out process very smooth and fast. Also housekeeping team done a great job. Nice stay at Amari JB hotel ☺️
