Citrus Hotel Johor Bahru by Compass Hospitality recensioner

The hotel is just opposite the City Square shopping mall and is located in Ah Fook street. There are plenty of eateries near the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel room comes with toiletries, bedroom slippers, Bar fridge and an electric kettle. There's about 5 power points in the room, hence it's convenient for you to charge your handphone, tablet and laptop. The television is about 32 inches. The room and the toilet are a bit small, but I just stayed for one night hence it is still acceptable for me.

I booked this hotel because of the convenient location. Next building to shopping mall, food street and more. But traffic at night was very noisy.

Free upgrade given by hotel. Good service from front desk. Noise insulation need to be improve, can hear next door room sound when they play the TV. No parking available need to cover by ourself.

Very near to CitySquare.Staff at the front desk is so helpful,polite and friendly.Housekeeper lady at level 10 is also very polite and friendly.Wifi is good,aircon is super cold 👍🏽. Fridge is not in working condition,there light in the fridge but not cold but i didnt feedback as i dont need the fridge….

Shower heater not working and room noisy. Not a comfortable stay for this room except for convenient location.

March sch holiday...decide to bring kids to JB at the same tim we want to go bazar ramadhan. So we stay Citrus is our 2nd time! We love the room is just nice for our family. We get free upgrade to 2queen bed. The toilet is vry clean. Is just across City Sq mall. It is so convenient. Defitnely will come bck!🥰

AC dirty, leaky and noisy. Room cleanliness must be improved. Water heater tap is spoilt with erratic switch between hot and cold. The bright light from the corridor leaks into the room under its door, making it disruptive to sleep. Overall, still fine with its good size and location.

With this roomrate, cannot say anything. Don’t be like those people want cheap price but want 5stars hotel service! Will come again next time.

Good location go to City Sq Mall & Komtar Mall. Got some good satay & mutton soup behind the Hotel. Just walk about 10 minutes to get some good Banana cake (Hup Joo). Like to be back, yeah.

very good location in jb access with all the nearby malls.. room is quiet, very clean and cozy. one thing is the table looks like not able to adjust higher height.

The location is good, just beside City Square Mall and near to eateries. 7-8 minutes walk to the famous Hiap Joo Bakery.

Hotel is rather old. Average amenities. Fridge wasn’t working.

Amazing stay! Super near to the mall so the ease of finding food and other amenities is great! The staff are super friendly and accommodating especially the doorman/security guard! Even the staff in-charge for breakfast was super nice! Love everything about this hotel will definitely book again! Room is very clean. AC is very strong too! Spacious room. Thank you Citrus!
