We just had the best sleep of our lives at Philas resort. Our garden villa was chic and comfortable. The cuisine was top notch - using local in-season produce. The facilities - sauna, sports hall, gym, beauty treatments - were all superb. We encountered no mosquitoes! Hurrah! The resort has a low key feel to it and never felt full or busy. Best of all, the staff were all super helpful and friendly with excellent attention to detail. All in all, Philas strikes a balance between chic design and back-to-nature wholesomeness. We traveled as a family of 3 at the end of July. The resort arranged transfers to and from the train station which makes it an easy trip from Helsinki. The food and facilities suited our teenager well but he has quite grown up tastes. There are well equipped kitchen facilities in the accommodation that are useful for families.

The weekend trip to PihlasResort was really great. One of the few high-quality resort destinations in Finland, where you can indulge in pampering. A versatile selection of indoor and outdoor activities that are included in the price of the apartment. Restaurant Siimes is nicely shaped for both breakfast, lunch and dinner, there is no need to leave the resort during a staycation lasting a couple of nights. You can easily charge an electric car and it's a short walk to different places inside the Resort. Lakeside Sauna Henki offers a wonderful setting for relaxation in an environment that breathes design and the beauty of nature. A warm recommendation for those who value high-class vacations.

We had an incredible stay at the Pihlas Resort. We stayed in one of the lovely cabins for 2. A very comfortable bed, nice outdoor seating and kitchen area. It's great you have your own electric scooter with which to go around the grounds. We loved having a swim in the lake early in the morning (the sunrise was beautiful) and then hopping in and out of the sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was a real experience.
