In winter cross-country skis (3 pairs), snowshoes (2 pairs), sledges and slides available, in the common storage. With Christmas bookings a Christmas tree is provided. In summer, cottage rent includes Indian style canoe (including route map to camping place on Huhmarsaari island). If required, basic canoeing instruction can also be given at 5 €/person. Owner has programme enterprise offering several different programme options, as well as equipment for hire, e.g. outboard motors and snowmobiles (there is also a snowmobile park for children in the area). Purnu skiing centre 28 km, Himos Ski Resort approx. one hour away by road. Willa Taiga’s tepee, available all year round, is within walking distance (can also be accessed by road). Located at a panoramic viewpoint, the tepee also features fish baking equipment and a WC. Close to nature trail. Transportation for excursions to Willa Taiga is available by arrangement for a maximum of 16 persons per time. Close by there is also a second year-round tepee and outdoor recreation location at Huhmarsaari. A smoke sauna can be rented there (€100/evening),smoke sauna in use from May to end of October. Mäntyranta is a spacious cabin, which is suitable for a larger group or two families. The cabin offers good possibilities for fishing on the lake Rutajärvi. Leivonmäki National Park is located nearby and can be seen on the opposite shore of the lake. The destination is available from 17.00 on the day of arrival. The cabin has a surveillance camera system. However, the system is not used when there are tenants in the house. Living room/kitchen, entrance hall, living room with a 140×200 cm double bed and a sofa bed that opens into a 140×200 cm extra bed for two. The washroom includes a WC and a shower. The apartment also has a private sauna with an electric sauna stove. Terrace with outdoor furniture. Between the apartment and the beach, a tennis court is available free of charge. The apartment has rackets and balls for guest use. In the Joutsenlampi area, there is a shared barbecue area for the apartments, located by the lake about 300 meters from the apartment.
