Extremely poor customer service from all staff. The only member of staff who was helpful and courteous was the Concierge ***. - Breakfast - mediocre selection of food- floor was covered in food (saw staff wiping tables by swiping leftover food from table to floor) and staff just wandering about, couldn’t care less about offering any help or service. If you ordered food, it never came, so you had to eat only what was out. - Fridge in the room was not working and was not stocked with anything- when we asked staff, they claimed it’s a ‘room temperature’ fridge - Reception- no welcome or smile, we asked for a taxi to take us to the train station and were told they didn’t have any taxis, we should stand outside and call a rickshaw - we had 6 bags! Saw other people make simple requests like what time does a local attraction open, saw staff give the most ridiculous reply. Most other guests were just as fed up as us. - bathroom- the most stupid sink design ever seen, leaving water flowing towards you, also crawling with tiny insects- I took a picture of this. Also found pieces of broken glass. - everytime our room was cleaned, the towels were not replaced, so I had to keep calling housekeeping to request towels when I returned to the room - swimming pool- completely unusable, only pigeons and their droppings visible all over the pool - Room- specifically asked for a good room because I was going to be working from the hotel room- but was given a room directly underneath the gym where I was disturbed everytime someone was walking or running on the treadmill. Overall the room itself was comfortable with a nice view, and location was good, but very poor management and training have left this hotel with a 1* service
